Can this be installed on an in ground pool and how can this be done?

I have an above ground pool, but it looks pretty clear that you adhere a small magnetic patch to pool side (underwater) and then it magnets to that.

My inground pool is plaster over concrete, no steel. How do you use the adhesive? Do you have to drain some water? Can the adhesive be removed?

I'm pretty sure this unit is only for above ground pools. The disc's are for gluing onto the exterior of a plastic pool, that gives the light a backing to stick to thru the plastic.

Mine came with no remote and it square not a teardrop has this happened to anyone else?

It doesn't come with a remote. You use the app to control it. And I believe the square is the new/updated version.

Is the adhesive safer for a vinyl liner? I have a radiant pool so the walls are too thick for the magnet to work.

It works fine on my vinyl liner and I didn't even have to use the adhesive. Not sure why but the magnet worked on its own and I have an in ground pool!
