You may feel silly wearing it BUT it does work!
You may feel silly wearing it BUT it does work! I am currently in hot, humid, rural, central Florida (aka โThe Swampโ), adjacent to a wooded area and lakes. Need I say more? Itโs humans vs โthemโ. Them being aggressive mosquitoes, no-see-ums, black flies, knats, love bugs, and anything else that flies and bites, swarms or is just plain annoying when gardening, on the trails, or when kayaking. Trust me, it had to get really bad for me to even consider a mosquito head net but the turning point was hearing a news alert on mosquito-borne illnesses (malaria, denge and West Nile) all with reported human cases found locally. After a little research, I decided on this one based on its large size, reviews, and price. The Giepht extra length of almost 20โ does fit well over a variety of my hat brims (the tilley, crusher, fedora style straw hat and my safari bamboo pith helmet). Regardless of hat brim size there was enough mesh fabric to protect down pass my shoulders including the bamboo pith helmet with the larger brim and crown. The game changer was having the drawcord hem adjustment for easy on-off and to keep bugs from crawling under and in. It also comes in handy for keeping your hat in place during a strong wind gust. As a newbie and eyeglass wearer, this is ultra lightweight, breathable, and well ventilated so you always have airflow and unrestricted movement without your glasses fogging up. You have good visibility with the netting and after awhile youโll notice youโre no longer having to swat bugs away. Unfortunately, the trade off is having to listen to the frustrated ones buzzing around you if they havenโt moved on. You will also need to watch yourself in areas where your netting could be snagged or ripped by branches. Overall, this is a great defense against mosquitoes and other nuisance fliers. It also protects against the occasional run in with a spiderweb or silks. Itโs perfect for everyday gardening, doing yard work, hiking, or kayaking through the mangroves. It is well worth the money for a 2-pack. Keep one as a backup by attaching a carabiner through the loop onto your gear or gift it to someone who could use it. No instructions were included, but it is self explanatory. It comes packed with the netting stuffed into its own pocket so you donโt have to worry about misplacing a storage bag. It is easy to take out, but re-stuffing can take you a few minutes. My only regret is not having bought it sooner. Considering the price and quality, this was a pretty sweet deal for a 2-pack under $10. Highly recommend. 5 Stars!

Great product
Finally used these after purchasing 2 years ago! Worked great on our hike today in the mountains; completely kept the gnats away from our faces, could see well enough through the netting to see rocks/roots.

Great value, easy to use, did the trick!
Needed to take care of several bees nests and was trying to resolve on our own to save money. Ordered these and combined with full length clothing they worked perfectly. High quality for the price, great value. Love they have a built in case so easy to fold and store later. Size wise plenty big to be worn over larger hat, then adjusted it tight. Simple.

Great mosquito head protection
These mosquito head nets were exactly what I was looking for. The fine netting effectively keeps bugs out while still remaining breathable and comfortable to wear. It's spacious enough to fit easily and comfortably over rain hats or hoods. The drawstring allows to adjust for a snug, secure fit when needed. They also fold down into a small, compact pouch, making them easy to store and carry. An excellent price for such a useful, must have item in your tackle box!

Won't ever go hiking without one
Awesome, easy to use/pack up, can breathe through like it's not even there, can see through (I have the black mesh ones). Took them to the Adirondacks in the summer and they worked flawlessly. Just have a hat with a brim and they stay off your face. Easy to pop on and off in a matter of seconds. Definitely made the day for us. It's funny hearing and seeing the bgs trying to get into your face and ears but they can't reach.

Compact and keeps bugs out of your eyes, nose and mouth
Bought these a while back and hadn't really gotten a chance to use them as the last year or so I haven't really had a mosquito or gnat problem while camping. That changed with my most recent overlanding trip though. The gnats were bad and they seemed to only want to be in my face. Slapped this bad boy over my had and was able to finish setting up camp with no worries. The net comes self contained and all you have to to is unpack it and when you're done, it packs right back into itself. So lightweight I forgot I had it on a few times while trying to drink water

Good for mosquitoes, not midges
These were easy to quickly get out, unpack and put on. They were comfortable and at first seemed like they were doing a great job. Unfortunately eventually midges were able to get in and made them unusable. If you were only using single this for mosquitoes this would be a great head net. It is not great for Scotland midges.

No more peskyโs up the nose or in the eyes.
Great head wear. Keeps those little pesky mosquitoes and flying bugs away from the face and neck area. Price is right.. Two mesh nettings in a package. Perfect! โฆ One for me the other for my husband.

Needs a few fixes. Does the job
A small zipper would be a nice touch. Also putting it back the pouch can be made easier.

Great for hiking/camping
These have come in handy SO often, especially when camping in the mountains. Used these at Garabaldi last year and it was game changing. Love it!

Perfect for hiking, perfect for any outdoor activities
Could not believe how small this is and how large it opens up to. Great for under hats of all types (cept sombrero's), it seems delicate as in thin but I've rolled it up a hand full of times without any issues, glad they sent two of them, one spare or for my partner on the odd occasion they come along. ALso like the fact I can tighten/adjust around the neck if I am wearing a jacket or other to keep the winged blood sucking warriors from entering the kingdom of my neck and head.
