This is a nice globe. The addition of the constellations is interesting when light.

False advertising - not illuminated
This globe is advertised as being illuminated but it isn’t. The constellations light up but that makes the map appear darker. There is no light inside to make the map light up. The globe also lacks full turning capacity so viewing below the equator is awkward. Returning. Seller not helpful.

Globe missing lots of loc/place details. This globe doesn’t have it.
Globe spins right to left/left to right only. Does not roll top to bottom/bottom to top. I find this frustrating because it’s inconvenient. The illumination is a nice, an informative addition however I have to constantly maintain the electrical charge. More disappointing is much detail, place names are missing on the globe. The older globes displayed more places, more detailed place names. Print quality is there but I don’t find this an easy to use globe. I find it incomplete. Many details on islands are missing.

This globe is beautiful, maps look first rate, it is nice size, the lighting showcasing constellations is a very nice addition!
