Cool cup!
Love this cup, my 8 month old is already drinking from this very real straw. The most important part for me is that the straw is like a regular straw and not the ones that you have to chew on to get water out. I never liked those straws as they discouraged drinking in my older kids when they were babies. The second most important thing for me is the straight forward design that has no crevices to grow mold. You can wash it multiple times a day without talking a hundred small pieces apart. Also, baby holds the cup by herself and drinks it easily (it’s not leak proof but those come with those challenging non realistic straws. Also, did I mention how cool they look? 😄

Great transition cup
We’ve been using the Ola silicone toddler cup for our little one and have been really happy with it. The silicone is soft but sturdy, easy for small hands to hold, and gentle on gums and teeth. It feels high quality and doesn’t have that strong silicone smell some cups do.I love that it’s simple to clean (dishwasher-safe is a huge plus) and that there aren’t a ton of parts to take apart. It works well as a transition cup and helps encourage independent drinking without being overly messy. Also perfect size measured with oz and mls.Overall, this is a well-designed, practical cup that’s clearly made with toddlers in mind. Would definitely recommend to other parents looking for a safe, easy-to-use cup.

Almost perfect transition cup
This is the second time I've purchased this cup. I had this brand cup for my first son and repurchased it again for my second. I spent a crazy amount of time researching cups to transition to from a bottle with my first and this was by far one of the best options that I found. Is it perfect? No. But it comes pretty darn close. One of the features that I liked most was the free flowing straw. My son doesn't have to bite the straw to release the liquid. As adults we don't do that, so I didn't want him to learn that was the proper way to use a straw. However, because of that this is not a leak proof cup. If you're looking for leak proof - keep it moving. Haha. The cup is a bit transparent. I can see exactly how much liquid is inside the cup without having to open it. As an added bonus, the cup has oz measurement markings on the cup. The cup has a nice weight to it, but not so heavy that it's a chore for my sons to pick it up to drink from. Size is perfect for little baby/toddler hands to hold. The biggest drawbacks for me, were it's size and price. I wish that the cup was larger than 5oz. And since it is on the smaller size, I wish the price was not as steep.Overall, pretty decent cup... Enough so, that I purchased twice.

Well-Designed Training Cup, Great for Toddlers Learning Straw Drinking
The Olababy silicone training cup with straw lid is a solid choice for toddlers who are learning to drink independently. The cup is made from soft, high-quality silicone that feels safe, durable, and easy for small hands to grip. The size is just right for toddlers, and the lightweight design makes it easy for them to handle on their own.The straw works well and doesn’t require too much suction, which is helpful for beginners transitioning from bottles or sippy cups. It encourages proper drinking technique and supports oral development. The silicone material is gentle on gums and teeth, which is a big plus.Cleaning is straightforward since the cup and straw come apart easily, allowing for thorough washing. It also holds up well to regular use and cleaning without losing shape or texture. The main drawback is that it’s not fully spill-proof—if tipped over or squeezed, some liquid can leak. While this is understandable for a training cup, it does require a bit of supervision, especially during early use.Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed, high-quality cup that works well for daily use, with just minor limitations.

Would recommend
If I spent as much time studying in school as I have researching baby cups I could have gotten a doctorates degree. And after everything... I still haven't found the perfect cup, but I haven't given up hope. I like this cup a lot, I got this cup when baby was 7 months to help transition from bottles to straws and cups, baby is 11 months now and I use this cup more than any others.Things I like: It's so cute! I really love the color and that its opaque so I can see how much liquid is in it. It's really easy for my baby to hold. The straw has a stopper so it cant be pulled out. It has a lid and it fits really well. It's super easy to clean (I only hand wash it as silicone can end up holding soap flavor). It has a flared bottom and that's always important. The cup has ounce markers.Things I don't like/wish were different: Volume, I wish it was a little larger, if you fill it too close to the top and put the lid on you will have an overflow, so I can only fill it 3/4th full and need to get a refill through dinner. If the cup is full and it tips over (a.k.a the baby throws it overboard) liquid will spill out of the straw. And lastly price, felt like a lot of money to spend on a cup... but I bought it anyway because I'm desperately seeking perfection. It's pretty good, until I find my perfect match, this one is at the top of my recommend list for a first transition cups.
