Simply works
I was initially concerned that there were no instructions. But I plugged it in and it started spitting out NMEA sentences. It was having a bit of trouble getting a good lock on some satellites. So I added a 6 foot USB extension cable and placed it next to a window. Success! Now it has solid lock on all of the GPS constellation. My purpose for buying it was to have an atomic time reference for my FT8 setup. Works like a charm. As a bonus, it knows my Maidenhead grid square to 8 places. I couldn't ask for better.

Inexpensive GPS Tracking Tool Works Well
Works well as long as you can get a clear overhead. I use it outdoors with a laptop computer to keep UTC time in digital ham radio applications. If you’re indoors, you probably need a USB extension cable to get it near a window. A green flashing LED says you’ve got satellite signals. You’ll need one of the many software applications/apps to translate signals into time/location on your computer.
