Definitely needed!
I recently purchased the Microphone Shock Mount Spacer Rubber Tube Washer, and I must say it's been an absolute game-changer for my Sony FX3 setup. As a content creator, having high-quality audio is as important as the visuals, and this little accessory has made a noticeable difference in my recordings.First and foremost, the build quality of the rubber tube washer is excellent. It feels sturdy and durable, ensuring a secure hold for my shotgun microphone. I no longer worry about accidental slippage or microphone vibrations ruining my shots.Installing the spacer was a breeze; it seamlessly fit into my setup without any hassle. It provided the perfect spacing required to attach my microphone securely to the camera. This simple yet effective design has impressed me, and I believe it would be just as beneficial for Sony FX6 users as it is for FX3 owners.Since I started using this spacer, I've noticed a significant reduction in handling noise and unwanted vibrations in my audio recordings. It's as if my microphone is now isolated from any disturbances, resulting in cleaner and crisper sound quality. For Sony FX3 and FX6 users, I can't stress enough how essential this accessory is. If you're serious about capturing professional-grade audio, this Microphone Shock Mount Spacer Rubber Tube Washer should be at the top of your shopping list.In conclusion, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. The improved audio quality, ease of installation, and durable build make it worth every penny. Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or a vlogger, this accessory is a must-have addition to your gear. Highly recommended!

Does the job!! But you might need to...
If you have a smaller diameter mic like a RODE NTG-3, you'll have to double stack the spacers. To do this properly, grab some scissors and cut off the trim ends on one spacer, then wrap it around another spacer. This results in a perfect fit for those skinnier mics. This lets me use my favorite shotgun mic on my cam and that's good enough for me!

FINALLY, a cheap workable option for this purpose.
I love my Sony FX3, but the diameter/sizing of the built-in mic holder has always been a hassle. I'd seen the expensive, bespoke spacers that were available online originally, but I'm cheap so for years I've just been using a strip of rubber lattice cabinet door padding, cut to size into a strip and wrapped around the mic before clipping it into the audio handle. This works fine and is very cost-effective, but is a hassle as my "solution" had a tendency to not stay in place on the mic and make setting up my camera more of a hassle. So, getting six of these bad boys for around $2 each is a definite upgrade. It fits like a charm on my Audio Technica shotgun mic, does a better job of holding the mic in place, and performs the same function as both spacer and to reduce handling noise. And if I happen to lose one, I have five more.In my opinion this is a must have for any FX3 owner, and the dang camera should have shipped with something like this in the first place.

Good quality mounts. Can be used with other brands too.
Pretty simple, but necessary accessory. I'm not using it with a Sony camera, but it works fine with the camcorder I have. I had to cut down the diameter by 1/4" for it to fit, so you know this can be used with other brand cameras as well as Sony. I like the 6-pack too, as I have already lost one of the rubber mounts because I wasn't careful in putting the camera away one time. Lesson learned. The rubber is nice and flexible, not sticky, and just the right thickness to securely hold the mic in place in the camera mount.
