Aveeno Dermaxa Emollient Soothing Cream 200ml

As a lifelong eczema sufferer, and having all the side effects that come with it (dryness, flaking, itchiness) this cream has helped me no end. I have probably spent a fortune on different creams over the years, in the hope that it will help my skin. I was recommended Aveeno by my dermatologist and I have never looked back. The cream actually does what it says on the packaging. It moisturises without leaving a greasy film and therefore the dryness and associated itching has gone. I can highly recommend the other products too. This cream in particular is quite thick, so it's great if your skin is very dry, but if you're looking for something a little lighter, then the cream or body lotion is just as effective. It is possibly a little pricey to some, but it lasts a long time as you do not need to apply much, and to me, it's worth every penny.

This stuff is great! I have eczema patches on my face which have flared up more this year. I ordered this as I had read through the national eczema website that this type of emollient not only protects and moisturises, but helps the skin to retain it's own moisture level, which not all emollients do. The cream arrived promptly. A little goes a long way, so I reckon if I only use this on my face it will last me at least a year. When I first saw how thick it was, I was concerned that it would clog my pores and lead to a breakout, which I can be prone to, but all was fine, and it doesn't leave your skin shiny and oily looking. Give it at least 10 minutes to sink in, then it's fine to put make-up on top. I noticed an improvement to my skin after just 2 days, and am still continuing to see a small but steady improvement each day. Love it!

This product was amazing. I usually have incredibly dry skin and the occasional patch of eczema leaving it very hard to have a smooth and soft skin, specially in the legs. This cream paired with the Aveeno Dermexa emollient wash did wonders for my skin, like no other had done before. Will be buying again for sure. If I had to point out just one thing would be its thick consistency, however this is overshadowed by its benefits.

Nice body cream

This is definitely the best over the counter non harsh moisturizer I’ve used for the eczema on my hands which I’ve had for years. Bought on a recommendation from a friend. I find if I use it nightly without fail then it staves off the need for steroid creams. Sometimes I run out and use a different cream and within a week my eczema has flared again. I’ve used the green and dark blue aveeno creams also and they’re not as good as this.

I only have Eczema on my lower legs which my Doctor states is due to my bad veins and I take a prescribed cream to treat it and to not make it worse. I decided to try this product and see if it was better but unfortunately it is not and it made no difference and gives off a stronger odour. Therefore it was no help to me with my condition ( Eczema caused by bad veins ) but this does not mean that it will not be good for people who have Eczema in other areas of their body which is caused by something else ( such as an allergy ).

I have used Aveeno products before, but Dermexa leaves my skin well nourished. It is very effective as a deep moisturiser and I shall continue using it. It does not feel sticky and it feels very soothing. I don't have any specific skin problems, but I have always used a moisturiser, as some medications I take mention dry skin as a side effect.

This is the best cream I've ever tried for my psoriasis. Keeps me moisturised and takes out the redness. It might get even be better than what I get prescribed from the doctors! Would definitely recommend

I have sensitive, oily skin, which gets dry and flaky in winter (cold temps & harsh wind are an everyday pleasure from October - April where I live) and was looking for a moisturizer that would repair the skin barrier, calm the skin and wouldn’t feel heavy (breaking me out). I have had good experience with oat extract before as a bath additive and gave this cream a try. It is fantastic: nourishing, calming, moisturizes, absorbs nicely, doesn’t feel heavy and works well under makeup. I use it on my face and body. It is also a great value - 200ml for 16€! Your regular cream would have the same price tag for a 50ml tube/jar. Would definitely recommend and will repurchase again for winter months.

Aveeno è sempre una garanzia di qualità! Questa crema nello specifico dona sollievo e idratazione anche alle pelli più sensibili. Ha una buona corpositá quindi non ne serve tanta per l'uso quotidiano permettendo ai flacone di durare a lungo. Il profumo è gradevole e quasi impercettibile.
