REOLINK PoE Switch with 8 PoE and 2 Gigabit Uplink Ports RLA-PS1

I bought this to power my Reolink cameras and it has been completely plug-and-play. One Ethernet cable to each camera handles both power and data, which makes the setup much cleaner than running separate power. Helpful setup tip: the 8 PoE ports are for your cameras/devices, while the two Gigabit uplink ports are what you use to connect the switch back to your router/network or another device. That distinction makes wiring everything much easier if you’re setting up PoE for the first time. I’m running multiple cameras through it continuously and haven’t had any connection or power issues. It’s compact, quiet, and does exactly what I needed without adding unnecessary complexity. 5 stars. If you’re building out a Reolink PoE camera system and need more ports, this is an easy recommendation.

This switch is better quality than some of the others in the same price range. The construction is metal. Everything feels well fit. The ports all lock tight. There is no wiggle in the board or ports. The layout is great with the power coming from the rear and the ports on front with indicator lights on the front. It fit perfectly on a shelf in a 10 inch cabinet with just a bit of space left to either side but not enough for it to move around unwanted. The ports all work well, hold tight, negotiate well, and operate perfectly. Each device negotiates quickly and connects. It supplies appropriate power to each port. The uplink ports were useful to me to connect both an uplink to another switch and a downlink to an NVR. The power supply brick has plenty of wire length. It is a fairly beefy block for an unmanaged switch, but not in a bad way. It has more length on the barrel end than on the wall end but works perfectly for my case. Overall, the performance and quality are their for this reasonably priced POE switch.

Works perfectly with my Reolink camera system. I have 7 cameras connected to it. No issues. Plug N Play!

Just as expected

easy to install , the clarity of footage for our security system improved and it has been flawless in all of the worst weather conditions outside , doesn't get hot either , pleasantly surprising and I'm going to add 2 more cameras currently pushing a 150 foot run and another 200 without issue w LED and IR pan zoom cameras

Would have given it 5 stars but my first one was defective. Company replaced it in a couple days with no hassle. I liked that this unit had separate upload ports. I had order and returned a different one with 8 ports when I learned I had to use one of the 8 ports as the uplink port. This unit has a 120W to share and is a simple plug and play. Only been using for about a month as I'm build my security system. Prefer the camera with SD card over the NVR which has a fan that constantly runs.

Wanted to add another camera so I needed to replace my existing Netgear 4 port switch. All my cameras being Reolink, I decided to get this Reolink switch. An 8 port with plenty of power at 120 watts total. Most other big brand 6 or 8 port switches only had around 60-65 watts of power avaliable. Probably would have worked but would have been maxed out or very close to that. This switch is running 5 cameras in addition to whats plugged directly into my NVR. This is switch is running 1 Elite Pro Floodlight PoE, and 4 RLC840s with lots of power to spare.
