it's not really a slicer but does a fine flaky grind. I used them for pistachios. Would be better if it did slivers

Very thin shavings of pistachios obtained. Easy to use with quick & effortless action. Build quality of product is good. Product size large enough to hold with hands comfortably. If thin shavings/slices is what you desire then only go for this product.
