Looking for a comfortable awesome shoe then this is the one you want
This my second pair in a year. The first pair I wore into the ground. not because they are cheap but because I loved them so much. I wore them nearly every day in the last year and like with everything you it will eventually wear out. Still available for some especially dirty jobs they are still fit for use and no duct tape yet either. These shoes are like having butter wrapped around my foot. I wear them backpacking, camping, and frankly every day. even the gym. Thats why I needed a new pair, not they are ragged out it's just they kind of look that way. Fantastic shoe I just hope Merrell doesn't every stop making these shoes because when I eventually wear out these new shoes I'll be back for another pair

No blisters, solid grip, decent cushioning
I love these shoes. They are perfect for my dry weather hiking. I had used trail running shoes on hikes for many years, because I frequently combine hiking with running, but I was getting bad blisters wearing a pair of HOKA trail running shoes. The blistering would start around mile 6 or 7. I decided to get real hiking shoes. I selected the Merrell Moab 3 shoes after reading the positive reviews on blisters. I was not disappointed. After a 10-mile hike, I had zero blisters. Mission accomplished! Also, I had some concerns about how much cushioning I would get with these shoes vs. the very cushioned HOKA, but I found this to be no problem at all. The cushioning was just right. Another concern was grip. I had previous experience with sliding and falling with other trail shoes. So, I put the Moab 3 to the test going up and down loose gravel paths and walking on steppingstones across water streams. I was not disappointed.

Best shoe out there!
Really this is the only shoe I will wear. It has great support and is very versatile. I wear it to work, hiking and jogging. They last a good long time, I walk 12000 steps a day in them and I replace them every 6 months.. I am able to slip them on with out untying (which is not recommended but I do it anyway.) The color goes with just about any outfit as well. YOu will not be dissapointed.

Generous sizing
I wanted to replace my old Merrell boots when they started to let water in and these looked ok. I do not have wide feet and these are a wide fit but I thought more space for thick socks. I usually go half size up with a boot that needs a winter sock but these run big so I returned and sized down to my normal size. The back of the boot hits in a different spot to my old pair and needs me to wear this in. The laces seem to work there way undone easily which is so annoying so I may change out the laces. But overall I am happy with these boots.

These are a great replacement for my beloved Keens...
These replaced my worn-out, much-loved Keens. I saw these in a sporting goods store. But as usual they didn't have my size. I had to order my size, a 7 wide. I wondered if they would be a good replacement for my Keens. And you know what? They fit great! and on top of that, there were no hot spots and no break in period. I without a doubt would by these again. They look good, they feel great and I'm sure they will last for years.

Like 4x4 for My Feet
Ok first, these are a super comfy trail shoe they I used for moderate hiking in Volcanoes National Park. Opted for the non waterproof version which enabled my feet to breathe well and these were super comfy right out of the box - no break in. Other than an unexpected run in with the Pacific Ocean (my fault, I mis guessed the wave timing) no issues and they dried quickly in front of a fireplace. The grip across different terrain was awesome! I have Solomon mid boots as well and I’d say the grip on the Moab3 outperformed my Solomons. Couldn’t wait to get back into them next day and trek across different terrain - literally felt like I had 4x4 traction on my feet! Really nice shoe. My only wish were for an additional top lace hole so I could loop back and double tighten but it’s not a deal breaker. These shoes were worth every penny!

Solid, Reliable, and Built to Last – Would Definitely Buy Again
I purchased these Merrell Moab 3s back in November 2023, and they've quickly become my go-to hiking and all-around adventure shoes. I got them in size 10 wide in the Black Night color, which looks just as sharp in person as it does online—sleek but rugged.Right out of the box, they were comfortable with zero break-in time. The pigskin leather and mesh combo is breathable but durable, and I appreciate the eco-friendly touches like the 100% recycled laces, webbing, and mesh lining. The Bellows tongue really does a great job keeping out dirt and debris, which is especially noticeable on muddier trails. The fit is spot-on. The Kinetic Fit ADVANCED insole gives solid support without feeling too stiff, and the heel cushioning makes a huge difference on longer treks. My feet don’t ache after a day of hiking, which is more than I can say for past shoes.Traction is also top-tier. The Vibram TC5+ sole grips well on wet rocks, loose gravel, and other terrain. I feel secure on all kinds of terrain. Plus, the Merrell Air Cushion and EVA midsole combo adds noticeable shock absorption and overall comfort. The bottom line is that these are sturdy, well-made, and comfortable right out of the gate. If you’re looking for a dependable hiking shoe that can take a beating and still feel great, this is it. I’d absolutely buy them again.

Very comfortable during lots of hiking
Purchased these last minute for a vacation with lots of hiking. A bit concerned in that I didn't get a chance to break them in. Arrived the day before we left for a trip to Argentina. After two weeks of hiking, including 2 different 13 mile hikes in mountainous terrain, I can say these are great shoes.Even had a couple of water missteps where I dunked a foot. Feet stayed pretty dry.No issues. Fit great (true to size 15). Wide toe box. Lots of room to adjust tightness. No hot spots or blisters.Bonus points-wife likes the way they look!
