This rice is the best! It cooks perfectly every time! My husband likes to make it the day before we are planning to eat it, because he likes the way it doesn’t clump together. We make a lot of Asian dishes, and stir fry’s.

I was looking for low GI rice and bought this one. I am not sure about it’s effectiveness as I never checked my blood sugar after having this rice. It’s taste is like other parboiled rice. I didn’t find anything wrong with its size, taste or smell though it takes some more time to be cooked. The price of 10lb bag of this rice is $31 that is actually expensive to me.

It’s long grain rice, easy to cook and non sticky

I tried this rice because parboiled basmati rice was recommended to me as a very gentle alternative to other types of rice. It's the first time in a while since I've been able to eat rice without an upset stomach afterward, and the low glycemic index makes it an even better choice. It cooks soft and fluffy in my rice cooker on a white rice setting, and its flavor is neutral enough that it goes well with any type of cuisine. My (kind of unreasonable) issue with this rice is that it doesn't last very long after it's cooked. I'm used to being able to make a great big pot of rice in my rice cooker and going through it over a week or two, but you can't really do that with this rice (suffers in texture and flavor). My other (slightly more reasonable) issue is that I wish this bag was resealable. The bag itself is very thick and sturdy but not very conducive to storage once cut open.
