GABB is great. We had no trouble activating the phone with GABB. As we started using the phone, we immediately started noticing that it was not holding a charge throughout the day as a new phone should. GABB customer service has been great to work with. We will be exchanging this phone that isn't holding a charge with a new phone from GABB in the near future. We are so happy with GABB as a company. We love the parent control options. We love our 12 year old having a phone without all of the other "stuff" available. 5 star review from us!

Phone won’t activate. Does not give a QR code and does not recognize the requested IME ID on box. Also requires the last 7 digits of Amazon order number. When I put this in, it tells me it is not a valid number.When I called the Amazon Gabb set up and trouble shooting number provided with my purchase I got the main Amazon number and was told this is sold thru a third party vendor and they do not offer support. This is after after dealing with the AI and 2 transfers.All this does not include the trouble I had syncing the set up information between the app and the website to make sure my phone would be able to use the parenting app.I am not having the simple easy set up promised in all the videos and reviews.If this is the courtship, I have deep reservations about the marriage. I’m also deeply disappointed in Amazon promising support and not delivering it.

So it’s actually a Samsung A03s with a different OS. It is safe for kids which is the main purpose. However, the price for the phone I think it is a lil expensive at $180.

I truly hesitated to get this phone via Amazon because of the negative reviews about activation. However, this was a gift for our son’s 16th birthday and I needed it ASAP. So, we had it in 24 hours and set it up on a Sunday (customer support is closed). Although it may have taken a bit to figure out all the steps, it was connected and activated within a couple hours. So, like a good pie, it may have taken some time and effort, but if you’re tech savvy this shouldn’t be an issue. Very pleased!

I was really excited to find a phone without internet or social media for my middle schooler, so I could get in touch with her at her various activities after school. The features that sold me on the phone were no Internet, no social media apps, gps tracking, and perhaps most importantly, being able to monitor her texts as she begins to navigate a little more freedom. It needs to be out of there loud and clear that this last feature IS NOT available unless you are an iphone user. This is not clear when ordering the phone and I would have gone with another option if I had known that.All that being said, if you are an iphone user, this seems like a great option. It's a Samsung phone that my daughter feels "cool" having and the camera is high quality. Tracking works pretty well for the most part.Customer service says there is an Android app in the world but there is no estimated date for release, which I suspect means it's not coming any time soon.

This is a needed safe device for young kids who are "ready" for a cell phone. Parents can monitor, allow or not allow access to many common apps that are ripe for harmful content. Price is reasonable.

It started to malfunction few months after we got them. The text message app crashed and could not receive or send text messages. Sadly, there was no way to return it and get a refund.

Was a little different to get started and signed up but with the outstanding service from their team made it a pleasant experience
