NOW A #7 desertcart KINDLE STORE BESTSELLER! When I turn up on Whitโs doorstep, rรฉsumรฉ in hand, Iโm expecting an informal interview, not a honey-dripped seduction, But that doesnโt mean I wonโt grab it with both handsโฆ My older brotherโs best friend doesnโt recognize me. To him, Iโm still the kid he sends a gift card to every Christmas. He doesnโt want to hear I spend them on fancy lingerie, Or that I dress up and fantasize about him. Heโs determined not to employ me. But Iโm not just looking for a job but also an experience. The kind that only he can give. I want our days to be full of secrets and our nights to be full of sin, For six whole blissful months. After that, everything will change. I only hope that when the truth comes out, he can forgive me. Review: Big Brotherโs Best Friend - Amelia always had the worst crush on her brother Connorโs friend, Whit. Not only was her gorgeous, but he was also British which also made him exotic. They always called her Mimi, and now sheโs twenty four and in London to work for six months, and hoping it will be with Whit. Showing up with her resume in hand, he doesnโt recognize his friendโs little sister all grown up, but thinks sheโs a woman he met at a costume party that come to take him up on a โgood timeโ. Before Mimi could tell him her name, stuff was happening and then she didnโt feel like talking. This is a funny, cute, sexy and romantic story that was not only way hot, but very sweet and if I was going to keep a heavy breather this would be it. Good job Donna Alam. Review: Best Book Iโve read in awhile - I loved Whit and Mimi. Even though you know sheโs had a crush on him her whole life, the book read and felt as if he fell first. The pent up lust and looks were great at the office and his family were great side characters. There was minor suspenseโwhich is greatly alluded to throughout the whole novelโmost was expected but the extent of it wasnโt. It added a bit of a twist. Their third act breakup couldโve been fueled by a bit more and the reconciliation was rushed a bit. The epilogue was great. I took off 1/2 a star just for the way the last 40 minutes of the book played out as it just fell a bit short of what was expected of the writing up to that point. BUT definitely not bad enough to pass up. Some of those steamy scenes will be remembered for a long while, lol.

Good spice, decent storyline, bad editing
The storyline was decent, it couldโve been fleshed out a little more. Spice was definitely there and plentiful from the very beginning. Only thing I have a huge issue with is the editing. This book took me a lot longer than necessary because I had to go back and make sure I understood the dialogue. The text bubbles were inconsistent with the pov and the American girl (24 yrs old) would use British slang even though it was pointed out (multiple times) that she didnโt understand it and had simple things explained to her multiple times. Some things also had extra letters or incorrect punctuation. Overall it needed to be looked over a lot better before publication.

lief and Mimi are friends then lovers
Whit or Lief is the CEO of a bank. He made his way up there. He met Conner and Mimiโs family when Whit and Conner were in college and became friends. Mimi always enjoyed Whit but as they got older and real world took time apart. Conner passed during a trip and wanted Whit to look after Mimi. He wasnโt the best since he had a big family. He always sent her a card for her birthday, but that was more his secretary than him. Mimi comes for a job interview and is whisked away on a whirlwind love story that she always wanted but knows she canโt have. She loves Whit and always has but he deserves better than her. She hiding a secret and is only there for 6 months and things are getting serious and she needs to tell him but canโt since it breaks her heart to do that. So instead she plans on leaving him but doesnโt get the chance to. Great book.

Great story, just a little stretched out
Iโm usually all in on a Donna Alam book, but this one drug on that I almost DNFโd it. In general, the story started strong and had lots of ๐ฅ. However, about 70% of the way through, I felt like the story stalled and just got a little dull. I put it aside for a bit and came back to it. Fortunately, that is where the story started picking up steam, and Iโm glad I did finish it, because the last 25% of the book was wonderful. So, all-in-all, it was a worthwhile read, just hang in there if you stored to get bored/frustrated. Itโll be worth it in the end. ๐

The interview book 1
This was a fairly long book but it was fun reading how they were fighting their feelings. It is interesting to note how you can learn about so many other kinds of things even though you are reading about a romance. Mentally and emotionally I stopped dead in my tracks near the end of the story. I have never heard of Brugada Syndrome and it sounds like more people ought to hear about it from my afterwards research. Her story played out in my own bedroom a month ago, with her family background being light compared to my husband 's background. (Don 't want to give away too much of the story here.) So for fear for his other family members I checked with the medical person in the family as to what exactly was the cause of the the other EIGHT family members issues. Thankfully their issues were different enough, and she was familiar with the syndrome that it put my mind to rest that this doesn't seem to run in my husbands family. However I had no idea there was such a rampant problem in his family until he went into the hospital. We are of the now older generation which some like my husband don't yet today take serious reoccurring family health issues. Do you research folks and act on it. We were both 77 and healthy, so we really didnt get ready for end times yet. He was still working. My husband was healthy on one Saturday and gone the next.

loved this read
I really enjoyed this book and the ending. Enjoying the internal battles they both had and the journey they both made together. I really liked the family โbickeringโ and the hoots I got from the joking. I recommend this book!

predictable
I started this book and could see where it was headed. Once I got to know the characters I skipped to the last 10% of the book and realized I was caught up on everything.

Good reading but a bit confusing
You have to be really concentrated to understand whoโs speaking. Got bored half way through and forced myself to read up to about 85%.
