Brilliant bulb, for those confused about the energy rating, the scale recently changed in 2021, the standards have doubled so this bulb would have been and A but is now and f, currently there are no bulbs that are better than a C and that is to allow the lighting company’s room to innovate. Rest assured that this bulb is still very efficient and cheap to run, in layman’s terms, you will be good if you get a low wattage bulb and it is bright enough for your needs, and this bulb most definitely is.

It would have been 5 stars except that the first one would not light at all when I installed it. Amazon got me a replacement delivered the next day. I am using it in a classical brass holder that is specifically designed to illuminate a picture from just above the top of the picture frame.The LED tube is slightly brighter than the 30w filament tube it replaced and slightly whiter but it is still a warm white light. The tube has an opaque strip down one side of the tube, presumably where some of the electronics are located. This strip is very useful as by rotating the tube I have been able to reduce the light falling on the wall above the picture, which helps to make the painting to stand out.There is no flicker as can be perceived with some early LED lights, especially from the corner of the eye. I will definitely buy again if I ever have to replace this one or I get more strip light holders.

Perfect replacement for a traditional tube light and just as bright, however a fraction of the cost to run as LED. Just ensure the correct length and remember when replacing in a bathroom you will probably need to install the cover to the light fitting when testing, as this is normally a safety feature of bathroom lights. At first I incorrectly assumed the LED tube wasn’t working, only realising after I replaced the cover that it was working.

I liked the fit. Used to replace a couple of incandescent tubular bulbs in a vintage display cabinet.I like the fact that it has the 25%(appx) blanking strip, so lamp can be rotated to suit required light direction.In addition, low energy, low cost replacement.

Lasted less than 3 weeks of light use. It started off extremely bright but then went less bright, then failed completely. It appears that the adhesive used to attach the LEDs to the glass tube has melted. The unit did become extremely hot. This bulb replaced another identical one that lasted about 4 months, so there appears to be a defective design. Because I had purchased the second one as a spare and didn't start using it for 4 months, I wasn't able to get a refund via Amazon, and the Energizer customer services simply referred me back to Amazon. So, with two units failing, best to avoid this product for the future. My previous incandescent light lasted years!
