Convenient and easy to use
These are great and greatly improved the speed and efficiency in rewiring my house. I ran some 12-2 up a conduit from an outdoor panel into a smaller box in the attic space and cut them off there. Then I used these connectors to extend the lines from the attic boxes to different outlets and circuits throughout the attic. For a one-man job, this worked great to run multiple lines from the outside and then run multiple lines on the inside without the need for going in-and out on every run.

Easy to use.
I used on 12/2 wire with ground. Made connections easy.

Ideal Wire Connectors
Overall this product worked good for hooking up wire to convert a bunch of 4ft lights from Florescent to LED bulbs that are ballast free. Upon removing the ballasts and making one set of Tombstones hot (direct wire) and the other side neutral (direct wire to Tombstone) there was a ton of connections to be made. The variety of wire to connect and the long run of lights in a series this product saved my wrists from twisting conventional wire nuts. The connectors can accept a 12 gauge solid wire and several smaller gauges of twisted bonded wire to make my connections. I was impressed that you could connect different size wires to the same connector and it would hold them all. With stranded wire it is difficult. If the wire is not stiff enough then it won't work. I think the best application would be what I needed them for or to do an add on wiring job in your home to make quick connections of the same wire type and size. The only issue I can see and I know another reviewer mentioned is that the wire can be pulled and twisted out, if you are trying to connect the last wire and you are twisting the connector while trying to push that last wire in, some of the other wires can start to back off. I noticed this in applications where the wire that was connected didn't have enough slack in it, my fault, sometimes the wire connections were cut just a hair short. Just make a real quick analysis that all of your wires are fully inserted and then let it be. Overall it takes a little practice to get used to how they work and what they can work well for. So overall, it just takes a little practice and you will see great results. I also agree that these would not be good in an application where wires could be pulled on or in a vibration type atmosphere. If you leave a little extra wire for slack then the wires should never back off.

GREAT PRODUCT
cheaper then the wago brand but work just as good., You can still remove wire if needed by twisting it and pulling it out.

Why didn't I know about these sooner?
These are a godsend. I have been wiring my house and fighting to keep wires secure and connected with traditional wire nuts all along. I also have arthritis, so after a long day of twisting down wire nuts, my hands were killing me. Then I started working in some shallow ceiling boxes that didn't really have room for the wire nuts and I decided to give these little gems a try. Boy am I glad I did! These connectors are as close to ideal as you can get (pun intended). Once the wires are stripped, you just slide the ends into a slot and you are done. They have a capture mechanism that locks onto the wire, providing a solid connection and preventing them from ever backing out, unlike wire nuts. The clear housing lets you visually verify that the wire is well-seated. As a bonus, they take up a lot less space than a wire nut for the same number of wires and they lay flat against the walls of the electrical box to allow more room for other things. The only negative I can think of is that they are not reusable. If you install one and then have to change what you did, you will have to cut this off, restrip the wire, and use a new one. This really is only a problem if you have really short wires in your box already though and at this price, it's no big deal to toss a few. Since they work so well and you can verify their installation visually though, the chances of having to redo one due to a bad connection are minute, unlike wire nuts that often have to be removed and reset to fix faulty connections. If you haven't ever tried these, don't wait. I'm pretty sure you will wonder why you used wire nuts for so long.

Easy and Nearly Foolproof
These are cheaper than the increasingly popular lever lock connectors but for most situations they work just as well. Advantages: 1) They are truly easy to use and need little skill. Strip to the right length and push into place. 2) The resulting connection is easily inspectable. The clear housing allows you to be absolutely sure that you have inserted the conductor in adequately and stripped the insulation adequately but no excessively. 3) The connection is very robust and resistant to flexing and tugging when connections are pushed into a tight box. Drawbacks: 1) These donโt work well for stranded wires, especially finely stranded as are sometimes used for light fixtures. 2) While these connections are certainly reusable (both the connector and the individual wires can be reused without resetting anything or restripping wires) they are not as easy to take apart as lever lock connections or traditional wire nuts. Typical of most connector types: 1) They are safety agency rated 2) The quality of construction is consistent and high. Best Applications: - DIY or handyman users who need to make a quick and reliable connection without the expertise and muscle memory that an electrician typically has with conventional wire nuts. - Tight boxes where the firm retention of wires as bundles are pushed around to fit into the box around the required devices. - Situations where the small extra costs versus traditional wire nuts is not as important as ease of use or total time to make up a box.

Must have
Was looking for an alternative to wire nuts on a building project. The size was perfect to connect wires and were made very well. Much faster than wire nuts. Made this project move faster. They donโt slip out once you attach the wire either. Very happy with these.

Super. Almost indestructible as small as it it. Stranded wire is a bit tricky though.
