11+ Practice Papers, Maths Pack 1, Multiple Choice: Maths Test 1, Maths Test 2, Maths Test 3, Maths Test 4 (The Official 11+ Practice Papers)

My son has his 11+ exams coming up in January 2017. I bought these as I know that at least one school that he will sit for base their papers on the GL assessments. The papers provide excellent practice for children preparing for the exams and also allow them to see how formal the paperwork may be. If there was one slight criticism I would say that they are a tad on the easy side in comparison to some other 11+ practice papers but nevertheless help enormously to give a child some much needed confidence. To do a thorough preparation it would be worth trying out a variety of other papers too so that different styles can be appreciated and a child isn't 'thrown' in the exam. I always make a point of sitting down with my son afterwards and walking through any mistakes. Also, just remind them to fill out those multi-choice answer sheets correctly! Every mark really does count. Good luck!

Brilliant book for 11+ preparation. I have used these books for all my 4 children and so far 3 of my kids have passed their 11+ and gone on to Grammar school. I cannot praise these books enough. Must be used for any 11+ prep work.

We purchased this set of practioce papers to help our daughter prepare for the 11+ exam. They contain four full papers and give invaluable practice at doing these really quite touch tests especially if you do them under timed exam condition. There is nothing like practice to put your child in the best possible place to do well in the exams. It's worth giving yourself at least 6 (preferably 9) months to fully prepare your child taking maybe one test ever week (coupled with the English and Verbal reasoning papers) Excellent papers in identical format to the real exams will give the best preparation you can.

Bought this in preparation for the 11+ in September. Although my daughter sighs a lot when I get her to do them, I think they are a really great tool for getting used to the timings / expectations of the test. Great stuff.

Clear and simple to use for the parent, challenging for the child. At a few pounds I don't know why you would want to go around photocopying.
