My family eats a ton of rice. 2 kinds mainly and that's jasmine rice and Thai sticky rice. I've always bought 25lb and up and kept in buckets in my back room. I would have to walk back there with my bowl and scoop some out every night and it could be a pain because I would have to fight with the lids on my buckets. I have 2 rice dispensers on top of my fridge and the rice flows out and a good pace. It can hold I think up to 25lbs of rice and for is that is a couple of weeks. It's the perfect size and they were so affordable. The seal at the top and the opening are designed perfectly. I wish i would have found this years ago! I love them!

My MIL gives us a bag of rice nearly every visit, and it got to the point where I was using an empty protein powder container to keep it all. I'm glad I finally decided to look for proper storage - this thing looks and performs so much better.The downsides -There are no options to fit a variety of aesthetics, but this issue is not limited to this brand. There is no information provided on cleaning method so I'm assuming the dishwasher is out. It's not hard to clean, just cumbersome. The lid doesn't seem to attach or seal securely, which makes me wonder how long the quality of the rice will remain good compared to the screwtop container I used previously. Lastly, the cup is not labeled with measurements, which now means I have to use additional items to ensure I retrieve the amount necessary for our meals.The rice comes out easily, and the mechanism seems to close completely each time it's used so far. I didn't think about testing the product with an almost empty container, but the inside seems angled enough that gravity should easily allow you to get every last piece. I like that there's a 'fresh tray', and never really gave something like that much thought. I originally wanted to get the largest size but I had intended on keeping the container in my cupboard (we don't have a pantry) and thought the smallest size would fit. I did read the length wrong and have to keep the container on my counter as a result, but overall, I think this product is worth it.

Bought this for our daughter and she loves it. Easily stores a 10 lb bag of rice and measures out what you need for cooking. Easy to use, saves space with its' design and works great.
