Q: What makes these "Eco-smart"?

Worst socks I ever saw. Returned them.

Q: Which size of socks to buy for Women shoe size 8?

My wife is a size 8 and bought the 8-12 size. She says they fit perfect. After washing and drying, they do shrink down a little. FYI; she also thinks they are of good quality, and would buy them again.

Q: One photo shows it as no show & a gray toe & heel, the second photo shows ankle & no gray in the toe & heel? Which is it?

They’re actually ankle with gray toe and heel. At least mine are.

Q: Are these primarily cotton? The page says the primary material is cotton but the images say otherwise.

They have some stretchy synthetic fibers to help them hold shape and stay up. If they were actually 100% cotton they would sag soon after putting them on. However, the body of the sock is almost all cotton.
