After relocating, I was frustrated to learn there was no digital antenna in the property and I was without Freeview for months. Until yesterday, I had no idea a device such as a HDTV Antenna even existed. I just happen to stumble across it on my mates Facebook account. Surely this flimsy piece of plastic is a gimmick, I thought. Anyway, I did further research and bought the RGTech Monarch based on the reviews on Amazon, and it was competitively priced. It arrived promptly the next day (today) so I was eager to set this up and laugh at my foolishness for spending £20 on rubbish. Well, chuckle I did as I was amazed a retune instantly received 101 DTV Channels, 31 Radio Channels and 17 Data/Other. I did have to fiddle a little to find a suitable place to position the antenna for consistent picture quality. I will reposition it later to find the sweet spot. So far, the picture has pixelated once for a second or so but the picture’s of good quality and the HD channels are excellent. It’s great to have some of my fav channels back, and set up took a few minutes. I am about 15 miles from the nearest transmitter. I am amazed how effective and satisfying this simple device is - just brilliant. Thank you!

I must have tried and returned to Amazon most of their indoor TV aerials. None of them worked well for my situation. In desperation I decided to try this one and I receive perfect Freeview reception including HD channels. It pulls in over 100 channels and it is not too large so that you can easily conceal it behind the TV or a picture hanging on the wall. Try it, it will surprise you.......

I live in an area where DAB performance is known to be 'patchy' despite there being broadcast aerials in the vicinity. The aerial arrived promptly and the instructions were clear. It was very easy to connect but placement was a bit fiddly due to the 'patchy' signal in the area. In the end I found a position on the wall next the tuner and achieved a good signal strength, curiously this was less than 3 feet from the window I had initially tried to attach it to and in the same alignment. The learning point from this is that if it doesn't work in one position try another. I didn't try for a TV signal as that is not want I bought it for. All in all, it works, gives a decent signal, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

I bought this back in June 2017 for the proposed installation of a TV in my home office and den. However, I only just got around doing this. I bought this product because it included in its specification it noted: "Designed to pull in HD, digital and analog signals from up to 40 miles away and from all directions"...and "Allows you to position at the most desired spot" I fixed the aerial to the glass in the adjacent window and attempted to tune the DTV with the aerial, but had no success with the three attempts made. I'm now left with the dilemma: do I need to point the aerial in another direction or is the product faulty? I know that our house aerial points in the opposite direction and as another reviewer has noted aerial "can be such fickle things" My advice is take the product's specification with a pinch of salt and set up immediately to be able to use the suppliers 30 day money back guarantee.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time, I thought it would not work but pleasantly surprised. Item is surprisingly small, very well made. Easy to set up, just plug in and search. I got more channels than I need, very happy. Very lightweight paper thin antenna. Performance and picture quality is great with no interference. If I need another I would definitely buy this again.

A rather interesting product that I wanted to use for my small TV in my bedroom. Currently the TV is connected to an ugly aerial that looks like a minature outside aerial and it is not easy to hide away. I thought I would put the Monarch in exactly the same place as the old aerial and it found exactly the same stations as the old one did. It does say however that you should retune the TV so I did. The result was that it found not one single channel! I thought this was odd put persevered and tried it in differewnt locations, it did find 9 channels in one area but the old aerial had found 20, where the Monarch found none. I reconnected the old aerial and bingo it found 20 channels! I replugged in the Monarch and it connected to the 20 channels that the old aerial had found. I have therefore placed it where the old aerial was and it is performing satisfactorily. I have not tried to re program the TV and will not do so. This a neat product and is barely visible against my wall but I did need to use my old aerial to find the 20 channels I had become used to. If I did not have the old aerial I may have had to return it. The old aerial is safely in the garage in case I change the TV in the bedroom and I need to search for channels. All very strange to me, but it works and is neat which was my requirement.

Ok I have to admit I've turned from sceptic to believer!! Was expecting rubbish picture quality but this is better than the house aerial. Easy set up, so lightweight it drapes discreetly by the curtain track and both channel selection & picture quality are tremendous! Happy to recommend based on our experience....used in front upstair bedroom, in built up South Manchester estate, with smart TV, where even the house aerial needs a booster box. No one is more surprised than me that I'm praising this aerial, have tried indoor aerials before which have been awful....this really is great & value for money. P.S. Also ich war überascht, daß die Antenne so gute Bildqualität abliefert. Erst war ich skeptisch, man sieht dieser Antenne nicht an was sie leistet. Mit einmaligem Umhängen sofort ein super Bild. Kann die Antenne mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Ich habe insgesamt -3- dieser Antennen gekauft und im Einsatz: 2x für UKW-Radioempfang, 1x für DAB+ Radioempfang. Super leichte Montage, super guter Empfang auch bei ansonsten schwierigen Empfangsverhältnissen (Stahlbetonbau). Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Je me suis acheté une smart tv hd avec wifi mais je n’arrivais pas à avoir la wifi et non plus je ne disposait pas d’antenne alors j’ai pris cette antenne et elle est vraiment trop bien je vois toutes les chaînes numérique non analogique et je suis satisfaite de mon choix et elle nous donne une très belle image je l’a recommande a tous vraiment

acheté il y a 2 jours ; 22 euros ; celà ressemble carrément à une feuille de papier ( les dimensions sont indiquées ; environ 40*13*0,5 cm ) il y a un mini boitier de raccordement au dos et un fil d'antenne de plusieurs metres qui se raccorde à la prise antenne de la TV ; la mienne est de 2006 , c'est une LG32" dont j'ai vérifié au préalable la compatibilté avec la TNT HD ( qui remplace l'ancienne TNT ) ma TV incorpore doncun décodeur MPEG4 ( TNT HD ) et non plus MPEG2 ( ancienne TNT ) => vérifiez vous aussi avant d'acheter

Assolutamente sorprendente! Un’antenna microstrip incredibilmente efficiente. Non credevo di ottenere questi risultati. Con la vecchia antenna amplificata dovevo scegliere se vedere i canali Rai o quelli Mediaset adattando di volta in volta la direzione e la lunghezza delle due telescopiche VHF e l’inclinazione dell’anello UHF e non sempre riuscivo, insomma un mal di testa…con questa li vedo tutti e anche molto bene. Ho fatto la prima scansione durante una giornata piovosa eppure la tv ha memorizzato ben 288 canali DTV e 43 radio. Anche esteticamente non infastidisce la vista e non occupa lo spazio della precedente. Superconsigliata 5 *
