It's a brand new "Made in Japan" notebook.
Superb is all I can say. The configuration and the ports won my heart. The device is meticulously crafted and has the classic white indicator right below the touchpad along with the battery indicator. You don't get these anymore other than this model from Fujitsu. Well, it's my personal observation though. It's robust and made purely for business. So those who want to play games and do timepass, this is not for you. Look somewhere else. This one comes in the high ranking of the ThinkPad which I diligently use. It's a Corporate / Business level notebook. It's as thin as it could get, only 997 grams. But now I must make a tough choice, whether to use this Fujitsu UH-X or my old ThinkPad. Well, I need both.

Superb 2 in 1 : works as expected
I've been working with a Microsoft surface 2 laptop since 2019, and the battery life had gone down to an abysmal 2 hours and I was looking for a convertible that was light and had fantastic battery life with all ports so i did not have to carry any adaptors , so decided to go for the fujitsu 12th gen 2 in 1 and it has been a good decision :PROSDisplay : 8/10Bright and crisp , with effective antiglare I found the full HD resolution adequate. However, the 16:9 aspect ratio whike excellent for videos and media, is outdated and I really miss the 3:2 aspect ratio I had with the surface laptop. I hope fujitsu atleast moves to a 16:10 in future.Keyboard : 9/10Very comfortable to type on, backlighting works great, no complaints on keyboard. But that said, because of the small form factor palm rest space is just adequate.Track pad works fine , but bit small again.A slightly bigger form factor like with surface laptop would give more palm rest space and bigger track pad. Here again 16:10 aspect ratio would help as the laptop gets a bit bigger and gives that additional palm rest and bigger track pad.Battery life: 10/10Phenomenal easily gets me through a whole day with basic office work , you tube videos and thr like. Probably intensive work like Adobe video editing etc would bring it down. But I am getting 7 -9 hours easy. Charging works well with usb-c charging even from a power bank . This is an excellent feature so no need to lug the heavy charger around.Performance / heating : 10/10Works great for office work with multiple tabs and PowerPoint etc open and no heating issues.Pen : 8/10Love the inbuilt storage. So practical and I now really use the pen. The quick note launch with hot button is nice feature, but one note or paint would be better. So I wish there was a way to configure the hot button to launch paint or one note instead of Quick note because Quick note is very basic and poor software and it does not do justice to the excellent pen. With Quick note You cannot even save the file, whike it works well with pen , it just take notes and save as an image. So paint and one note are way better. The pen works well without lag and delivers stellar performance with paint and one note. So just use it with paint and one note PowerPoint etc and it works perfectly.Utility : 8/10Super light, super portable with all the ports you can dream of and inbuilt pen . Windows hello face recognition works brilliantly.UPDATE : windows hello does not work in dark. I don't know if this is a.druver issue or hardware problem. Will be contacting Fujitsu support on this. Problem is I don't know how to contact fujitsu support. Downgraded utility to 8 /10CONSUser manual: 2/10Absolutely no information. You really have to hunt for that user manual and I finally found the site, where you have to specify india and then you can get the right manual. And even here, I wish they provided more info on critical things like how to configure the hot button and use the reR camera etc and the fn keys. Fujitsu really need to pull up their socks here they assume everyone buying the laptop is a windows & laptop professional. This laptop has so many features that are simply not documented and you have to discover them yourself.Audio : 6/10Very clear audio but low volume. You really have to fiddle around and I finally found the setting which gives decent volume. With that , its kind of acceptable. I don't even know why other options exist because with those options volume is so low that even my mobile has 3x louder volume. If you plan to use this in a moderately noisy environment you will not hear anything. With ear phones everything fine of course.Webcam / back camera : 6/10OK nothing great about it. Maybe there is a setting here again, will have to fiddle around and see. Webcam has a shutter which is great. And they have a back camera which is practical .

Fujitsu rocks!
After nearly a month of use, I can say it works as advertised.Pros: lightweight, windows hello face, pen (a bit thin but you get used to it), touchscreen, comfortable keyboard with numpad, 6-7hrs battery life, dual camera setup with one having a physical shutter for privacy, all sorts of connection ports, incl. ethernet and SD card slot.Cons: 6s bootup time, becomes very hot, never put it on lap in tablet mode! But it has not throttled even at those high temps and fan is not loud, barely audible. Maybe not for high-end gaming.
