This handheld led magnifying glass is lightweight, excellent clarity, nice size, perfect for some elderly with arthritic hands.

what kind of battery is required?

When I received this magnifying glass, I wasn't able to use because it was blurry, there was dried glue all over the glass and it was scratched. At this point I immediately put it back in its box and returned for a refund. I did not check what type of battery it called for because I was not keeping this damaged product. Thank you.
