What a great product for the price, the sound quality is really good and it was easy to connect. The audible warnings of when the rechargeable battery (inside the speaker already) is almost out of charge are helpful. I recommend this product.

I initially bought this to use for a dissertation project in a dog kennels. Therefore I needed a cheap speaker which was easily transported and could be placed in a kennel block without obstructing daily duties.The sound quality was excellent. Better than I initially expected for a lower budget device. The battery lasted a full 3 hours of constant use. I haven't used it for longer, however it still had charge remaining after the 3 hours. It's smaller size meant it could easily be transported and placed in areas without getting in the way of anything. It connected to my phone, computer and iPad very quickly and remains connected when I moved into other rooms etc.The only thing that I would say that bothered me at first was the volume control, as at first I would accidentally change tracks rather than adjust the volume as it is the same buttons. But after a while, I got used to it and doesn't effect it's usability.Very happy with the product. It will get plenty of use!

I got bored using headphones for work calls with my company laptop - they all seem to hurt my ears after a few hours of continuous use.I spent a bunch of time looking round for a speaker & microphone and ended up plumping for this one.Positives : Great sound, surprising for such a small device. it plugs in and works pretty much straight off. The microphone is fine, once you link the correct mic (the default seemed to revert to the laptop for some reason). You can power off the laptop, so no issues running out of juice.Issues : Probably more gripes than problems, but - occasionally it drops connection, but it seems to reconnect within a minute. When you switch your laptop off, it automatically powers down, so you have to remember to switch it on in the morning.Overall : Great little device for the money. The mic & speaker work really well. But please note that this is only tested for speech, I cannot offer a comment on music.

Why did you choose this product over others?:IT PLAYS .WAV FILES! (via the micro sd card slot) Is also USB C now. These two details are not mentioned in the product marketing but are two of the best features. I've been using one since 2018 (old micro-usb model) and its still going strong. Best mini speaker you can buy without breaking the bank. This one hits high pitched notes that others in this price range dont and they sound muffled in comparison. It unfortunately still has an on and off sound effect that may disturb others at night but ive been running mine constantly plugged in for years (yes, years non stop!) so not an issue.Product quality:Excellent build all round, just the side buttons are cheap feeling but not a big deal.

I have been very impressed by this little speaker.I bought it for £6.99 and for that I think it’s a great product. I wanted it so I could listen to music from my iPad in the kitchen without risking my tablet getting wet or dropped.For the size/price the sound is acceptable - it goes much louder than I expected but does start to sound 'tinny' at higher volume.It feels quite sturdy and looks nice enough (there is a button on the bottom to switch lights on/off independently from your music).Have used it a few times and am still on the first charge of the battery.The Bluetooth connection is quick and easy, with it connecting to iPad on startup most of the time.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful option!

As others have noted the instructions such as they are aren't great. My mistake first was that as the button on the bottom was the button for the LED lights when they came on I thought I had turned it on and nothing was happening as to Bluetooth on my computer. Later in frustration I pressed each button until it sprang to life. I then noticed that the instructions did identify the on/off button so that was my mistake. The on/off button is the last one in the row on the speaker as it is standing upright on the right hand side. The buttons are marked with the usual markings but are hard to see as they are black on a black background. It would be good if they were some contrasting colour which might wear off in time but by then you may know where everything is. Not keen on the up and down volume being the same button as the skip backwards or forwards as it is all to easy to accidentally skip a track rather than turning the volume up or down (which I did several times.) It is mentioned that you can connect it up with the included USB or the 3.5 jack which is great (although I haven't tried that yet.) You have to press the M (multi function button) to use the cables. However the instructions do not show where the multi function button so that is still a mystery to me. I have emailed the seller to ask if they can shed light on where this is. All in all this is quite a neat little piece of kit which (once you get it turn on) does not take up as much space as my old speakers and does not take as much time setting up. It does give a nice room filling sound but I am not an audio expert so as long as I can hear it and it is reasonably rich I am happy. The volume/skip button is a problem which is why I have only given it 3 stars.

It's a compact speaker that sits well on my monitor riser and sounds pretty good, bearing in mind the size/price. Buttons are a little fiddly but you can get the hang of them reasonably quickly.Don't know if anyone else found that it's louder and clearer using Bluetooth than when using the supplied cable, or maybe it's just I've done something weird with Windows 10 (which has 'weird' built right in).I was going to happily give this 4* but the customer service has definitely bumped this up to 5*. My cable connection had a low-grade but permanent hiss, a maddening combination of rushing water and swarming bees. My other half thought it might be the cable and, sure enough, using a different one stopped the noise. I contacted the manufacturer to say that my cable was the problem and asked for help sorting it out. I got a response within the hour (wow!) and was told, with no argument or delaying tactics, that they were sending me a new cable, which promptly arrived within 48 hours. Go Betron Customer Services! :)Problem fixed and I was a very happy customer who could enjoy her music from the pc again, yay.

Amazing for a small gadget bluetooth connection to my Amazon Tablet when I have my fan on in the room. Bargain price. Recommended. I love it.

Let’s start with the several misspelled words in the instructions and continue with the fact that they were so small that a magnifying glass is needed. These speakers are usually so easy to pair and use but I still haven’t figured this one out. Because it was form specific purpose I didn’t try it out until after the return window (my fault) But it would definitely have gone back otherwise.
