This is a Great lamp! The light it gives off is very good for reading. It also has a nice dimmer which comes in handy for a change of mood in which ever room you use it in. It also has a nice directional swivel.

Bought this light 4 years ago and really liked it. Then the bulb burned out and is not replaceable! Disappointed because I expected much better longevity for this wall light.

The LED in this light provides very nice light to read by. I appreciate the compact nature of the head and arm assembly; it looks good, and is very unobtrusive when folded away against the wall. It also has a pretty solid feel, which is important to me. The only price you pay for the compact nature of this lamp is that you may need to use a bit of extra care in positioning it on your wall. The arm of this this lamp doesn't adjust up and down, it only folds in and out straight from the wall. The head swivels a bit, but over a fairly limited range. While this keeps the unit compact, and contributes to the nice solid feel, it means that your options for aiming the light are somewhat smaller than on some other reading lamps. The LED is only slightly recessed above the bottom face of the head, so if the head is in view and is above eye level, you may get dazzled by a direct view of the LED. None of this will be an issue if you mount the unit behind you (perhaps above the headboard on your bed, or over your shoulder in your living room), but in my case, it's off to the side of my reading position, and I had to make sure the lamp was mounted a little bit below eye level. A bulkier lamp head with a deeper hood would reduce the glare potential, and make the installation less fussy, but then, hey, it wouldn't look so sleek. As it is, I worked it out, and it works great for me. You can install this lamp permanently onto your wall, with an electrical box behind it, which is what I did; it makes the installation look very clean. I would, however, recommend that you try a temporary (corded) installation first, to make certain you like the mounting position, especially the height. One last thing... the on/off switch on this lamp is illuminated. I find it to be a bit brighter than it needs to be, and I'm sure it would drive me nuts if this were installed in my bedroom. If it bothers you, you may need to figure out how to disable the LED backlight, which I suspect is pretty easy if you are a geek. If not, you can probably paint or Sharpie the button (it's clear plastic) and tone down the brightness a bit.

Love the sleek, low-profile design of this lamp. It's mounted over my son's computer desk and it provides ample light for studying and reading. The dimmer is great and the "on" button is illuminated, so it's easy to find when the room is dark. Easy to install, although instructions are obviously written by someone not proficient in English language.

Great for bedroom reading lamps. The only thing I didn't like was the nightlight feature on switch, but you can turn off. I contacted the seller and they helped me with that. UPDATE: I am really disappointed because the bulb went out after just 3 years. This is supposed to be a LED, which should last a lot longer. The bulb is going to cost over $50 to replace (expensive for a bulb)! I'm buying two new lamps that don't have this type of bulb.

We installed these light bedside. We contacted the company on how to stop the glow on the button switch at night because it was too bright for our taste. It was simple and they were able to talk us through it over the phone. I love the dimming feature of the lights and they look expensive. We installed them hardwired without a hitch.

Purchased 6 of these for a bunk bed setup and 2 other rooms and so far 4 have broken/burnt out in less than 8 months. Not sure how to return, but $165 LED lamps should last longer than 9 months...

Good looking, nice quality lamp with two potential disadvantages. I tried this as a bedside reading light, but the LED light was much too bright and blue. Would have to be put on a dimmer to calm the penetrating bluish beam. Also the power button stays lit, so if this is going to be a bedside light one would need an external power control to turn it off, unless, of course, one didn't care about the button light.
