Sika Stixall Extreme Power Sealant And Adhesive, Grey, 290ml

I bought this to secure a coping stone that had come loose, and it turned out to be an excellent adhesive for outdoor jobs. The tube is easy to use with a standard sealant gun, and the product has a thick, grippy consistency that stays where you put it rather than sliding around. Once applied, it gives you enough working time to position the stone properly before it starts to set. Surface prep really matters with this type of adhesive. I brushed away all the dust and grit and made sure both surfaces were clean. After pressing the stone into place, it felt solid straight away, and once cured, the hold was extremely firm. The adhesive is waterproof and designed for outdoor use, which is ideal for coping stones, garden repairs and similar jobs. It adheres well to rough masonry, which not all sealants manage. For DIY repairs where you need something strong, weather‑resistant and easy to apply, this is a great option. It’s one of those products that works as long as you prep the surfaces properly. Price wise, this is excellent value for money and I would buy this again should I need a strong, outdoor adhesive.

Works well, strong adhesive, thick but easy to apply, gives off a great smooth finish. I found this best to use by using my hairdryer after applying it to heat it up, as this gives it a tacky feel and strengthens the application, then I lay down the flooring and it stays put, with no bumps or lifting. I recommend this product.

This Sika Stixall is a fantastic product! I used it to bond large pavement stones in my garden, and the holding power is incredible. What impressed me most is that I had to apply it during rainy weather, and it still stuck brilliantly without any issues at all. It provides a rock-solid, durable bond and lives up to the waterproof claim completely. Highly recommend if you need a heavy-duty adhesive that can cope with wet conditions!

I broke the corners off two raised patio slabs and rather than chip out and re-lay I used Stixall to put the pieces back in place. I made a little jig to clamp them in place and after a few hours, I couldn't move them by hand. I cut off the excess with a blade and it was like hard bathroom sealant. I got white instead of clear by accident, so not the prettiest repair but so far it looks rock solid. Stuck pretty quickly at initial placing too making life easier. Will find plenty of uses for this.

For the price point, I have been thoroughly satisfied with this product. Its medium modulus provides excellent flexibility, which was a critical factor for my extensive panelling project - it worked like a charm. The 290 PSI lap shear strength for wood-to-wood applications proved more than sufficient for the job at hand. My decision to purchase was reinforced by several positive YouTube reviews, which ultimately served as a deciding factor given the scale of my work. While I have not tested the product as a sealant, its performance as an adhesive was outstanding. Note for users: The product does have a strong odour; adequate respiratory protection (a mask) is strongly recommended during application.

Used for wood paneling project. I used it to stick wood bead to the wall. I pinned the beading on to hold it but one the adhesive had gone off the beading will not come off the wall with out pulling the plaster off with it

First time I'd tried this stuff: I usually go for silicone-based bonding, but for this particular project thought this would be better. It was. Main problem is that I wanted a thin bead along several 1.5 metre [that IS the correct spelling] lengths, but the product is so viscous it was difficult to squeeze it through the nozzle. It's ok with a larger bead though. But then I got too much and cleaning any excess is difficult - even when quite fresh it doesn't want to come off, so care is needed. I will definitely use it again.

Delivery was fast. I've used this product before and loved it so I reordered .But It makes it a little hard to dispense material out of a caulk tube with out the dispenser pieces that is supposed to come with it.
