I'm a 67 year old female who is so technologically challenged I still have a flip phone. After renting a car last week with a Nav System, I really wanted one but didn't want to pay $300-plus for a dealer install. I ordered this, it arrived today. I found someone on You Tube that was installing the same little card, watched for 2 minutes. So simple - leave the car off. Install the little card. That's it. Turn on the car - don't start it, just turn on the accessories, and it starts to load the navigation system. Took about 1 minute. And amazingly, I now have a Nav System in my Mazda CX-5 2017! The trick for me was just finding where to insert the card - turns out it's in my center console where I keep my spare change and registration. Took me about 30 seconds to figure out how to put in a couple of favorite addresses in California - I live in Oregon so it defaulted to Oregon. But again, no issues, no problems. There are a few vids on You Tube that have very detailed how-to-use manuals but if I can figure this out, anyone can. Perhaps if I come across something I can't program or whatever, I'll check out the 25-minute instruction video someone posted. In the meantime, I'm thrilled. Best $180 I could have spent. I'm sure this is available on eBay or wherever but having Amazon's return policy on my side just in case is worth paying more for the product. And turns out I don't need to return anything.

Was skeptical because of the price. Very satisfied when I installed and saw working maps. The maps are a little clunky, I prefer the google maps, but they work. The mazdadisplay will also list cross streets while driving even if not using nav which I thought was a neat feature.

I own a 2018 Mazda3. Nav system works right out of the box and is the real deal.Initially I tried to haggle the price down at the dealer, but they wouldn’t budge and also told me the cheaper sd cards on e-bay were stolen. So I went on Amazon to look for genuine sd cards that are hopefully not stolen. Found this one, latest updated version that works with my car, and considering the price I figured it’s probably not stolen (but you never know).So I guess if you’re looking for even cheaper ones, try ebay, but they could be stolen. So beware. This one is just fine for me.

GPS worked at first, then it began to say invalid SD card. I updated it on the Mazda Toolbox and then it was working again for a short time, now it won’t liad at all. When I run SD diagnosing on Mazda Toolbox it says invalid! Would give no stars if I could. Now I can’t even return it...

This came in so much faster than anticipated which is great. I put it into the slot, downloaded quickly and began to work right away. There are plenty of features and settings that you can change, which i love. I hesitated buying it at first, but im definitely happy that i decided to purchase!

Did not work at first. Only showed a current map of where I was but did not allow entering of any addresses. Almost returned it. However, before I did I went ahead and got on my computer to load the Mazda Toolbox and download a map update. The map update did the trick! When I put the SD card back in the car and turned it on I had full navigation capabilities. Problem solved. Just do the map update and that should do it. Navigation works very well and a lot of features can be controlled. Very impressed and a nice step up over my Garmin. In addition, it is nice having it work with the Mazda infotainment screen. Nice!

I have a 2017 Mazda3 Grand Touring and can confirm it works with the Heads Up display on the dashboard. Easy to install. Car off, insert SD card (you'll hear a click), turn car on and then go to navigation in the car menu or press the navigation button and boom! You now have navigation! The description of this product says it has instructions to update or install but I just received a sheet of paper with basic information of the card itself like the image you see for this product. I think my card is a little outdated because today I was driving and noticed a road I was driving on was not on the navigation system so I might have to use 1 of my free updates already. 2 cons but It this is a LEGIT navigation system at a good price compared to the $400 from the dealership so this gets a 5 stars from me. Also it would be helpful to add a link in the description field for this product on where to update because I didn't receive that information.

After turning in my 2016 Mazda6 and bought a 2018 Mazda6, I took the navigation chip from the old car. I had bought this as an add on for $400 and thought I could use it in my new car. You can't, each chip is dedicated to only one vin number. This chip works well. You install it with the car off. Turn on the ignition, select Navigation and it boots up in less than a minute. This is a much better deal than going to the dealership. All of the hardware is already there in your Mazda. You only need the chip.

Software is easy to use to download the free maps, easy installation, and works well.

Feel this should allow for traffic or accident issues, but it took us right into a gridlock when several other ways would have been quicker.

DOES NOT WORK!!! Followed directions and got an invalid sd card code.

Disappointed in this. The reviews were good and the price was awesome, so I ordered. Shipping was very quick. Put the SD Card in my 2018 CX-9 and it reads invalid SD Card.

I really liked this product, I wanted Navigation in my 2018 Mazda 3 Sport, but i didnt want to pay the dealership price. This actually work and I loe everything about.

It was a fast delivery, and I was very much looking forward to start using the navigation system. I did not want to pay the outrageous price at the dealer.

Just received this, popped it in per instructions in the reviews and all I’m getting is a gray screen that says, “Loading Navigation.” (See photo).

Easy to pop into the SD slot, works great, but I already need an update. There are streets near my house that it does not know exist.
