I already had regular snake boots but found them too stiff and inflexible to comfortably wear when hiking significant slopes. These gaiters were the answer! Once I adjusted their fit, I placed them over my Dryshod Womens Legend MXT Adventure Rubber Boots |Mid-Height | |Pull-On boots. Having done that, I could easily slip into and out of the boots and gaiters. The result was a snake boot that provided more flexibility at the ankle. Couldn't be happier and I feel much safer.

These snake gaiters fit like a glove. Material and stitching look great. Buckles are strong . My go to when working out in the brush.

I’ve encountered a couple rattlesnakes this summer so I got these. Haven’t seen any since I’ve been wearing them, they are comfortable to wear and seem heavy duty so that snakes would not be able to penetrate. I feel confident about going through some high grass areas now. My only complaint is that they are hard to adjust and get on. My legs are probably on the smaller size, so that may be the problem. The material bunches up when I try to close the clasps.

I wear a woman’s 10 shoe and I’m 5 foot eight. The coverage of these gators is more than adequate. The upper strap should fit snuggly as it tends to slip down a little bit, but the stiffness of the material doesn’t impede your movement and helps support it in place against your shoe. I’ve only worn them three times. I use them for weed eating when I wear shorts. They might have less ride down the lower leg if I had jeans on? Especially for the price and the overall fit they are generally ample for my purpose.

good and solid. I hike through Mojave Green territory on a regular basis, and I think these will be good protection for my ankles and calves. My only complaint - it's kinda tricky to get tightened up enough, though.

Wore them for the first time today slogging through weeds and brush. Very happy with the material and the fit. I have 20" calves and these fit boots and calves well!

Good protection

I am very satisfied! They arrived at the time promise. Easy to put on and adjust straps. But I didn’t buy them for snakes I bought them for my motorcycle to keep the bug guts off of my jeans. Snakes or bugs they kept them off of you.
