aplic - AC1200 Dual Band WiFI

I have the router on the floor down me and I always had a poor signal. I plugged the hardware to my Win10 computer, installed the drivers and I noticed a great speed boost in my connectivity. However, every hour or so the device loses connectivity for a few minutes and says that the internet connection is not active anymore (which is not true, as my other devices are connected and running without issues). Then it reconnects again but that means I cannot rely on this device for anything important.I tried switching USB ports, turning off the USB power saving, placing it in different places... nothing solves the problem. I tried to download an updated driver from their website... and it's all in German. I managed to find the latest driver using the translate option of Chrome but installing it doesn't solve the problem. I uninstalled the driver and tried the ones in Windows Update... same problem again. I think I will end up returning the thing, wich is sad considering that, when it works, it works really well.
