Great beard oil – softens well, smells good and not greasy
On behalf of my dad who I bought this for as a gift:Used the Striking Viking Beard Oil (Vanilla scent, 60ml) and it’s been really good for daily beard care.Value for money: Good for the price. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts well compared to cheaper oils that you need to use more of.Quality: Feels like a decent quality oil. It applies smoothly and doesn’t feel watered down or overly synthetic.Appearance: Helps the beard look neater and more controlled. It reduces frizz and gives a slightly healthier, more groomed look without making it look shiny or greasy.Softness: Makes a noticeable difference in softness. Beard feels much smoother and less scratchy after applying, especially on longer or thicker growth.Non-greasy: Absorbs well and doesn’t leave an oily residue if you use the right amount. Doesn’t make the beard look wet or heavy.Thickness: Light to medium consistency, so it spreads easily through the beard without feeling too thick or sticky.Overall, a solid beard oil that improves softness and appearance, smells good, and feels light without being greasy.

Best vanilla scent ever
Conditions the beard well but I really love the vanilla scent, already used a beard balm vanilla from striking viking and got addicted to their aroma.

Not terrible for the price
For the price, this is very good value - 60ml as opposed to the 30ml which most beard oils seem to be.The trade-off is that the quality isn't as good as more premium options. It feels a little greasier in the hand, and the fragrance isn't great - it's not terrible, but it's relatively mild and so there's an oily smell that cuts through. The dropper is decent, and it came well packaged - the bottle was sealed in plastic to prevent leaks.Would I buy again? That's a tricky one, but on reflection probably not, for the reasons mentioned above. However, if nothing else was available then I might do.I wouldn't necessarily say this is one to avoid, but just be aware what you are buying into - and if you're used to more premium beard products then be prepared to manage your expectations accordingly (bearing in mind the low price point)

Smell Like A Viking!
This stuff is great. Massage it into my beard and I smell lovely. It goes in nicely, allowing comfortable combing, makes my beard nicely soft and shiny without feeling overly greasy. Good stuff!

Great smell
Great smell, and it lasts well, my beard looks great and it stops the dandruff when used with the shampoo and conditioner.

Even a Scrawny Viking Deserves Soft Stubble
I grew a beard. It itched. People told me beard oil would stop it itching, so I went looking for some. There's a whole world of beard oil out there but I liked the name Striking Viking. It seemed to fit well with my own slightly skinny and gaunt physique. It's about on-par with the price of other beard oils, it did stop my beard itching and made it nice and soft and left my skin feeling moisturised. To apply, simply squeeze a couple of drops from the pipette and then rub it into your beard. I did find that I needed to use more than was recommended to get the true effect of stopping the itching but, once applied, it lasted for a long time. The biggest downside, if I'm really looking for one, is that the vanilla scent wasn't that strong and didn't last very long once applied. I had to make up for it with a quick squirt of Sauvage - which cost a lot more than the beard oil does.TL;DR - Got a beard? Does it itch? This'll help.

Great beard oil with NO SCENT
Works just like it should (as far as I know)... I needed a beard oil with no scent. I searched for unscented beard oil and Striking Viking was the first thing I saw. So I do not know how this compares to other brands as I've never tried anything else, but I just ordered bottle #3 (for my desk at work) and I love this stuff. Keeps my beard nice and soft, also it makes it much more manageable as far as combing it goes. I have nothing else to compare it to as I've never tried anything else, but I love it and will continue to use. Highly recommended.
