Perfect fit for my old planter. Looks and feels sturdy.

These are first class fit perfect and brill for growing veg I've done raddish, lettuce ,celery onions in them no problems

I have been thrilled since I received my 1st elho table and lid order (which as we all know are sold separately)I love how it is and how well my lettuce mix is thriving in it.I was so happy I have now placed a new order, but I’m very sad that it has actually arrived damaged.Fingers crossed replacement arrives in one piece.Tips for new owners:(Bits that other customers have helped me with as well as things I have found out myself which I think might/could help others ;)1. There is no need to open extra drainage holes as the drainage through the legs is sufficient.2. For better soil drainage at the bottom of the planter as well as for greater stability and to avoid the drainage legs from getting clogged with soil; I recommend you fill the legs and some of the base (1”-2.5cm approx) with cheap small river stones.I bought 1 bag from Home_ _ _ e for £2.59 and one bag was sufficient.Unfortunately I couldn’t find a cheap option from Amazon so a trip to my local garden store was a must.I cleaned the pebbles thoroughly with water before and after placing them in the planter (let’s not forget they’re usually for building/diy purposes)3. The planter takes 2 full 25l - so 50l of soil to be filled up to 2” from the rim.4. I find that it’s ideal for lettuce and herbs.Could see cherry tomatoes and small pepper plants growing in it too, but although the planter is deep, I don’t see it suitable for larger plants as regular tomato plants.5. I also recommend you buy some copper tape and place a double ring around all four legs (this avoids slugs from getting inside your planter)Also don’t put it by a wall as slugs could enter the planter through the side lid openings (unless you place a strip of tape there too)So...PROSLarger than expected/imaginedLooks durable and well madeGood height (my back really appreciates it)CONSPrice - The fact that the planter and lid are sold separately (although it’s worth it)The fact that sometimes due to being plastic, the items are damaged in transit.Thanks for reading and my very best wishes to all of you.

Loved these add ons as with all the rain we’ve had recently the seeds still able to grow.

I bought 2 planters a couple of years ago to give us more growing space to the small veg plot but i didnt buy with the lids so when i saw the lids seperatly sold i quickly added 2 to my basket, they arrived super fast but slightly damaged & the seller was fab when i contacted him about them, they are used daily for growing salad & small veggies, come end of the year when alls finished they have a good wash down & dry, the good thing is that you could still use them for over wintering things in the plant stands they are meant for, pleased to have bought them when i did, well worth the money

This is an huge improvement on the previous style Elho had. Now there are clamps on the sides which hold the lid securely on grow house. Before I used a string to hold the lid on in the wind, but now it is easy to take off during sunny days. The round dial type vents are better when I use this to grow catnip. With the old style, the cats would jump on top and reach inside to grab leaves with their paws. Now they can't get in; only sit on top, sniff, and dream of destroying everything. I recommend getting one of these tops to help put plants outside earlier when they are still too small to resist the wind.

Useful additions to the grow tables but massively overpriced for what they are.

Does what it says saves your delicate plants from storms or frost but I dropped this lid and it has broken. Make sure you clip the edges otherwise it could break if falls off in wind. Otherwise very useful.

Si crea una sorta di mini serra, ovviamente utilizzando il contenitore della casa..Ottime le prese di ventilazione superiore, forse da rivedere il fatto che comunque nei pressi delle chiusure laterali restano aperte 2 aree molto maggiori delle prese di ventilazione superiore..

Produit qui semble de bonne qualité. J ai acheté cet article il y a 2 semaines et me donne entiere satisfaction.Le probleme, mais qui n'a rien a voir avec la qualité, c est le prix du transport... Ce n est pas un article en Prime donc attention lors de la commande.

Als das Paket bei mir angekommen ist, hab ich einen Schock bekommen. Das Paket war in jeder Hinsicht zerstört und von DHL sogar nachverpackt worden.Die Haube ist, entgegen meiner Befürchtung heil geblieben, Dank einer dicken Schicht Luftpolsterfolie.AMAZON muss so ein schlampiger Versand wirklich sein? Man hat den Eindruck, es würde drauf angelegt, dass etwas zu Bruch geht und in anderen Rezensionen wird auch von dem katastrophalen Versand berichtet.Nun zur Haube:Die Haube ist super, lässt sich mit den klammern super befestigen, was ein Riesen Vorteil zum Vorgänger ist, und ist dadurch super gehen Wind gesichert. Vorbei sind die Zeiten mit festbinden, eine super Weiterentwicklung.Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir *****
