The photo was taken after I opened the packet, but I LOVE these pens. They write so well. So many colors— green, blue, light blue, pink, red, purple, black… I use these for my journaling, and they are perfect. But could be used well for color-coded notes, etc.

These colored pens are amazing! The colors are vibrant, they write smoothly, and they are perfect for taking notes, drawing, or adding a little color to your work. They are comfortable to hold and the ink flows nicely without skipping. Great quality and definitely worth buying!

If I could give these 10 stars, I would. The extra bold ballpoint is exquisitely smooth, writing with it is comfortable, the ink is uniform, the colors are wonderful, and I love the variety pack. The one thing I did notice the last time I renewed my supply is the little protective ball at the tip would not come off easily like it used to - it came off in little bits and I kept having to pick at it, when normally it would just pop right off in a single piece. I love these pens despite the weird protective ball.

Aside from the Bic Cristal and the Bic Pro Gel Point, I am not a huge fan of Bic products. Considering their legendary history as inventors of the ballpoint pen, they chose mass appeal over stylishly crafted writing instruments — which made them famous, of course. The Bic Cristal Bold (1.6 mm) is one of the smoothest ballpoint pens ever produced. Writing is effortless, clear and precise. I am buying these in every color available.

I am a bit of a pen snob. I used to use Uni-ball Jetstream pens. But, then I saw the Bic Glide bold pens at an attractive price, loved them, and never looked back. Now, I see that the price is right on the other Bic pens. So, I am wondering if I could go even cheaper. So, I tried the Bic Glide Bold against the Bic Xtra Bold and the Xtra Life. Long story short, the pens are well named. The Glide pen is heavier and smoother and very easy to write with. The Xtra Bold is a very light pen which means it takes more effort to write with. But, the color is indeed bolder than the Glide. Also, the ink is blobbier than the Glide. The XtraLife on the other hand is lighter, more faint, and scratchier. The above is for black ink. I also compared the Xtra Bold Blue vs Black. The black ink is blobby and uneven. The blue ink is less much less blobby - fewer dots and streaks. And the lines are more even. So, here is where I stand. My #1 is the Bic Glide Bold. It’s fun to use and makes my writing look good. It will be my go-no for writing in general. My #2 is the Bic Xtra Bold in Blue. This will likely be a distant second because I mostly type so I don’t want writing to take effort. I might use these up along with cheap legal pads with thin paper. The others will be throwaway pens that I loan out, jot down quick notes with, and use for contrasting ink with capturing thoughts. I might also use the Xtra Life for drawing fainter lines on unlined paper until they either run out or are lost.

These are my fave pens! They write so smoothly and the colors are vibrant. I prefer a thicker point so these 1.6mm are perfect for me! I've tried many different kinds but this has been my favorite for years!

I think everyone has used the classic Bic crystal pens at one point or another and they were great. However I like to write with a wider line than the usual 1.0 mm classic Bic pen and was buying quite expensive 1.6 mm gel pens instead. I then read a blog by Seattle Sketcher, Gabriel Campanario who was using a Bic Crystal Bold (1.6 mm) pen. I tried it out and loved it. All the advantages of the inexpensive but wonderful classic Bic pen in a bold stroke. Because they put out quite a bit of ink they don't last tremendously long but a fine trade off for a smooth, fun and inexpensive pen for writing or sketching. Recommended.

用途は、スケジュールも兼ねた雑記帳と仕事用のタスクリスト記入 今までも太いボールペンは触ってきたが、想像以上のヌルヌルで 非常に書きやすい。Bicの1.2mmも所持しているが書き味は別物。 万年筆や水性インクには劣るもののインクはちゃんと黒い。 これなら箱買いリピート確定。ただ当然ながらインクの消費は激しい。
