I bought the this back brace hoping for some relief from a couple of bulging discs that have been making me feel about 30 years older than I actually am. After wearing it for a week, I can honestly say this thing has been a game changer. The support is firm without feeling like I'm being squeezed by a boa constrictor. The brace fits true to size and is of reasonable quality. The support is sturdy yet flexible, and its adjustable straps allow you to customize the level of tension and compression, with the Velcro holding securely. It’s comfortable under clothing, not overly bulky, and it stayed in place without rolling—an issue some other braces are reported to have. There was no skin irritation, and the breathable material kept it from feeling too warm during wear. Unfortunately, it did not reduce back pain for the wearer; it simply made them more aware of the painful area, so it was returned. Nevertheless, the construction was reported to hold the lumbar region secure, which may help prevent further strain or injury.

I've tried every back brace on Amazon (pretty much). Two L4/L5/S1 surgeries and many back injections - this back brace is worth every cent. It immediately offers relief. It is lightweight and can fit under clothing. I am 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs, and the small fits great. I have only had to replace it once due to the Velcro wearing out, but I wear it almost every day, and for a while I was even sleeping in it- highly recommend if you are suffering from lower back pain- at $45 bucks its a deal compared to what you are dealing with

So I’ve had a back injury for 40 years, slip disc, L5. It doesn’t go out often but when it does now because I’m a lot older, it doesn’t go in as quickly. Chiropractor suggested I get a back brace. I did my research online and this back brace got good ratings for the Velcro holding up and also being comfortable and the size fitting. It does roll up a little bit and I haven’t worn it all day yet. I feel like it would not be comfortable if you had to sit in a chair all day which I do, but I will put it back on when I get up to have to walk to the bathroom or do filing. It looks like it would be bulky, but when you get it on it, it’s actually not that bad. I am a 54 waist and the 3X fits me great. It came with an extender, but I don’t need it. The quality is great and it looks like it will be durable but again I just got it. I’ve never won one before, but I would say that there is pretty good support. It allows me to stand up a little bit straighter, and I feel like I could lift things that I couldn’t lift without it.

The closure in the front is a bit too narrow. In order to get that good hug in the lower C and upper L region I had to really tighten it and the narrow Velcro straps were cutting into the stomach a bit more than I'd like. Wearing a good thick cotton shirt underneath it really helped, but during the summer, in 95Deg F heat makes that an impossibility while wearing another shirt on top of it. Passing out is not a good look. But otherwise, I thought the build and materials were of standard Chinese quality. Longevity is still something I can't rate, but let's see where it's at after 30 days. HSA eligible, which was nice, and it wasn't too expensive when compared to other offerings for this region of the back.
