Yes, this should work fine with a laptop, as long as you have a USB port.

Interested in on of these but so expensive! Is there any way to try before you buy? Need to use for a bit to check okay but can't return used merch

Press and hold the button above scroll and copy button simultaneously for two seconds to see the LED lights flash for the respective mode. While holding the button above scroll , release the copy button and klick on the copy button to toggle though the different modes. Release both buttons once the desired mode has been reached. MAC-Mode: LED’s light up from right to left.
