Wer used it for rising Sourdough bread, since it's alkalinity reacts with the Sour to make CO2 bubbles and rise the bread. Good, inexpensive product for baking.

Worked great for making liquid soap and seems to have good purity.

Good product, arrived timely. For those looking, the Safety Data Sheet shows this to be >90% pure. Happy soapmaking!

I made castile soap with this. It worked great.

Package is totally different from the listing. I got 10lb one is in a plastic container and confused to open. Bought it for making liquid soap unfortunately not work as it is after two attempts.

Used it to make homeade castile soap. Worked fine.

I have concerns about this product that should be addressed: 1. The manufacturer does not provide an official purity specification. General statements such as “high purity” or “suitable for soap making” are not a substitute for an actual value. The manufacturer should provide the KOH assay/purity percentage (preferably with a COA for the batch). 2. The product packaging is not adequately sealed. The plastic container does not have an inner safety seal, so the product is exposed when the lid is opened. After transportation in hot weather, the bottom of the container arrived slightly bulged, which raises concerns about packaging durability and product protection during shipping.
