Keeps little ones from going into fireplace
Purchased this to prevent my pets and their toys from going into the fireplace. Installation was easy. Even though I purchased the smallest screen, it is bigger than my fireplace and the wall the textured, so the hooks are adhered a bit weird, but it’s been holding up so far. I do wish that the hooks came in other colors like black or gray because the white stands out against my dark fireplace trim.

Keeps your pets and children away from the fireplace.
Purchased this over a year ago to keep my moving infant from getting into our chimney. It has 100% done it’s job, not only does it now prevent our Toddler from getting into our fireplace, but our cats as well. It was very easy to place and fit perfectly over the chimney space. My only complaint would be the sticky tabs used to stick the hooks on, it should come with some extra- just in case. I did go online and purchased 3m adhesive tabs, which worked a lot better.

Works better if you can drill into your fireplace
Works but the sticky tabs on the hooks aren’t great. I can’t drill into my fireplace as it’s stone but when the hooks stuck it worked great

One side melted
This was originally cute and worked. Easy to apply however the command strip melted right off when the fireplace was on. Left one side exposed otherwise good

Item is as expected and as described. Comes with screws and everything you need to set it up (besides a drill/ screwdriver). Its not made for a stone fireplace but so far it has been working for me. The material seems to be pretty decent and, even though it’s made in China, it’s not poorly made. You could also use it for something other than a fireplace, to be honest. The hooks have sticky tape on the back and the its the thick type, so it should stick to mostly anything. Item is light and size is as described. So far I’m happy with this purchase, not sure if it will be toddler proof but it’s definitely enough for keeping kids and pets away.
