It doesn't taste like chamoy.
It wasn't sour as I expected. It has a lot sugar and was sweet insted of sour.

It’s lower cost = lower quality
It tastes kind of not fresh. The chilli isn’t a normal liquid and powder mix that I am use to having. It kind of tastes like they threw in chalula sauce and paprika/chilli powder in the bag. I guess for the price it is super cheap but I am most likely not going to order again. The dried mangos felt oddly sweaty. I usually buy something similar from the local Mexican grocery stores or candy shops so I was hoping it would be like the normal chamoy and tamarindo powder. My dad likes them but he also has been smoking since he was 10 years old and he is 76 this year. Texture is like mushy. My dad is also missing teeth so it’s super easy to chew if you have missing teeth. Respectfully as a First Gen/Chicana, I gotta be honest sorry :(

Too Sweet, Overpowering Spice, and Flavor Falls Flat
I tried this bag of chili chamoy mango slices over the past couple of days, and my experience was disappointing. Right out of the bag, the sweetness is incredibly intense—much sweeter than I expected for dried fruit candy—so the mango flavor doesn’t come through with much actual fruit character. Instead, it feels like a sugary coating with just a hint of mango underneath. The chamoy and chili seasoning also misses the mark for me. Rather than adding a balanced sweet-spicy kick, the spice is sharp and one-dimensional, amplifying the sugary coating without enhancing the mango. It ends up tasting louder than flavorful, and the combination doesn’t create the satisfying contrast I was hoping for. Texture is another concern. The mango slices themselves are chewy, but the coating is sticky, clinging to teeth and dusting my fingers with excess seasoning. That makes casual snacking less pleasant, especially if you’re eating on the go or don’t have a napkin handy.

Meh
It's OK. Nothing special and nothng I would buy again. I actually like TJ's chili mango better. Although, the mangoes were pretty plump and tender.
