The idly maker is good I using it since 4-5 months. A whistling sound comes while cooking no steam comes from side but goes out of whistle. It's bottom should be more strong.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. THE IDLI STAND KNOB IS OF POOR QUALITY & BROKE WITHIN 6 MONTHS . WITHOUT THIS IT IS USELESS. IF YOU WRITE TO THE COMPANY, YOU GET A RESPONSE ASKING YOU FOR BILL DETAILS. EVEN IF YOU SUPPLY IT & OFFER TO PAY FOR SPARE KNOBS, THEY SIMPLY DO NOT RESPOND

It starts the whistling in just 2 minutes. Making it a bit confusing when to switch off the gas knob. Ideally one should keep the gas knob on for 8 mins and then let it cool down for another 5 mins

Size fit

Too small when you put water in the pot you can't put in idly dishes,very bad poor condition
