Velbon QB-157 Spare Quick Release Plate for PH-157Q

I originally got my Velborn tripod when I purchased a RSPB birdscope. I loved the way I could screw the plate into the scope and leave it on then just slip the plate onto the tripod and lock in. Or when packing up just slip the catch and slide the scope off. I was so impressed that I purchased a second to attach to my dslr camera so I had the flexibility to use the tripod when a stable platform was required for my photography. I can switch from scope to camera without having to unscrew the plates and reapplying. It is such a wonderful system, I would recommend it.

Having a spare one of these allows me to attach one to my Spotter Scope and my DSLR and quickly change either from the Tripod. I can also attach it to the camera and a the other to a large lens and when changing to a small lens I can just leave this one on the large lens.

Quality every time with ingenious design, this was to go with my Sherpa 750 that I've had for 15 years and it still functions like I bought it yesterday, just don't put the quick release plate somewhere other than the tripod or you lose it and have to buy another ;-)

It does the job perfectly, but it should as it is a direct replacement. The only reason for awarding 4 stars instead of 5 is purely for its price. It's a small piece.of moulded metal with a screw. I find it hard to believe it should cost more than a couple of pounds to produce.

Lost mine during a twilight shoot, and though I knew exactly the moment and place I had laid it down, I couldnt get back to that place for several days, and I needed it before then so had a problem. Went online that very evening, bought this and it arrived next day, and is identical and fits perfectly. Delighted with delivery speed and item. Meant I was never without my tripod. Problem solved.

I already have one which came with the tripod, but can now quickly swap between big scope and spotting scope, or between scope and camera. Very easy.

I bought a second Velbon QB-157 Spare Quick Release Plate for PH-157Q to fit onto my large telephoto lens, so that I don't need to remove the original from the camera base each time I need to use the Telephoto lens. It makes life easier!

This is a perfect fit for a Velbon PH-157Q I had been given. It fits appears sturdy and well made.

Tengo un trípode Sony VTC-750 y se me había perdido la zapata para el enganche rápido de cámaras de vídeo o fotos. Esta zapata sirve para ese trípode. POR FIN LA ENCONTRÉ!!! :-)))

Es gibt darüber nicht viel zu sagen - sie ist genauso gut verarbeitet, wie die, die mit dem Velbon Sherpa 600R-Stativ geschickt wird (also stabiles Metall mit ordentlichem Kork als Kontaktfläche), aber es kann ja nie schaden, noch eine in Reserve zu haben, z.B. um zwei Geräte schnell zu wechseln. In meinem Fall befindet sich meist eine der Platten an der Kamera (bzw. direkt am Stativ, bereit zur Aufnahme eines jeglichen Geräts), die andere an einem großen Objektiv, sodass ich nicht andauernd in der Gegend rumschrauben muss, wenn ich mal wechseln will. Außerdem kann es ja immer mal passieren, dass man ein so "kleines" Objekt irgendwo verlegt und da ist es immer gut, eines dieser Teile in Reserve zu haben. Kurz: Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit und freue mich, nun noch eine zweite Schnellwechselplatte zu haben. Wer wortwörtlich schnell mehrere Geräte auf dem Stativ wechseln will, sollte sich, um die Zeit des Rumschraubens zu sparen, wirklich eine zweite Platte zulegen.

Prix correct, quand on veut gagner du temps et qu'on a plusieurs appareils à fixer à tour de rôle sur le même pied.
