Better Houseware 2490 Wall-Mounted 3-Arm Stainless-Steel Towel Bar

I recently had my kitchen remodeled and was looking for a dishtowel holder to mount on the doors under the sink. The majority of the ones I found were ones that didn't mount, but just slipped over the top of the door. These proved to be a waste of money. Everytime you removed a towel, the holder slipped off the top of the door. It wasn't easy to put a dishtowel on either. When you closed the doors you could see the top of the holder...not a look I was going for. The wall mounted 3-arm stainless steel towel bar proved to be EXACTlY what I was looking for. They were easy to mount on the doors, even though they were labeled wall mount. The directions were simple to follow and the quality of the product exceeded my expectations. You attach the bracket and the towel bar slips over it! It wasn't a big thing in the scheme of the total kitchen remodel, but it certainly relieved some frustration.

This little towel rack takes up very little space and looks great! It was easy to install and has functioned beautifully in my guest bath.

Love this! It's right under my sink and handy to use to wipe my hands or grab if I need it to dry dishes. It holds several dishtowels easily - just leave an inch or two clearance for them to be inside the cabinet! Should have gotten one of these years ago! Installs easily and is almost flush with the door - not bulky at all unless you put about 6 towels on it like I do! Sturdy metal and bet it lasts for many years! Would be great in a garage on the wall to hold all kinds of things like work towels, ropes, extension cords, you name it! As long as they weren't real bulky real heavy items, it would hold lots of different things! The three bars move easily and go flush or at any angle outward.

It seems that all 3-arm towel bars sag a little. If the arms are flexible enough to swing, they flex enough that some things fall off. I put those plastic gizmos for keeping socks together (in the wash)on the ends of the bars and that helps. I looked in several stores for a towel bar like this- I wanted to replace a cheaper one that really sagged. This one is good-looking and a reasonable price. One of the arms came with a dent in it, not enough to send it back, but still.

Sturdy and made well. It was super easy to install and a nice quality product. I had to use shorter screws to install on my kitchen cabinet.

I purchased this May 2011 to hold two lightweight dish towels in the cabinet under my kitchen sink. Within the first few months, the entire unit kept sagging and the dish towels would fall off the arms. We tried shimmying the metal plate and even tried drilling two new holes and slanting the metal plate upwards. Just 2 years later, the towel bar broke and we went to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased a new towel bar for $3.99. SAVE YOUR MONEY...THIS ONE IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

This has made such a difference in my kitchen. I no longer have to look around to find my dish. Towels or dishcloth. It keeps them off the counter and out of the way. I loved it so much, I ordered one for my stepdaughter and daughter-in-law.

I mounted the towel bar above the kitchen sink, a year and a half ago, and cannot image it not being there. The looseness of the 3 moving arms has an easy fix. After installing the wall bracket, I added some electrical tape – exactly at the two points where the arm component slides onto it. That makes the arm component tight on the bracket. Then you tighten or loosen the top screw on the arm component, to adjust the movement of the 3 swinging arms. It's an elegant design, made of stainless steel.

I found this product is better than some of the other reviews suggest. There is some looseness in the hinge, but if you account for the inevitable dip in the slope of the arms that happens when you mount it, then it hangs straight and works well. Looks very nice.

Works really great! The arms are a little bit light and move around too much. Still the best one available!

I initially bought this product because of the slick look in the picture and the decent price. Upon installation, I noticed 2 major problems: 1) The bracket that screws into the wall does not fit snugly to the towel bar attachment. This results in a very lose installation, and I've triple checked that the bracket was installed correctly (the bracket itself is very tight to the wall). 2) The 3 arms does not rotate smoothly. I noticed the 3 cylinders where the 3 arms attach to are not perfectly rounded/smooth, so sometimes they get stuck together, or they jam. I do not recommend this product. I had to return it to Amazon and fix the holes on the wall.
