This thing is great.
I love Amp modeling. I've not used my real Amp in over a year now. Ever since I discovered how cool Amp modeling is, I haven't gone back. My main pedal is a Pod Go. I love the Pod Go. I've bought a few other cheap pedals. One is just for Acoustic guitar and the other is a really small portable Amp modeler. I guess they're all portable. This one is pretty small but it's packed with cool sounds. With my Pod Go I erased all the factory presets and replaced them with patches that I purchased online. I obviously made up some of my own patches too but it's cool to just buy some and load them up. This pedal has some cool factory presets. I mainly bought it so when I'm jamming with my friends I have another pedal ready to go. I'm definitely going to use this next time and let my buddy use the Pod Go. I just got it today and planned on spending a few minutes learning the functions. I ended up learning a little but basically just jamming on the presets for a few hours. It definitely has some control options. I like that it has a built-in foot switch for volume or Wah. I'm really impressed with this little pedal. It's definitely worth what they're asking. I got mine on sale. I need to look into it more but I can tell it's a great pedal for my needs. I would absolutely use this in a live setting. I love that you can plug headphones into Amp modelers and have a really good guitar sound. I know tjere always going to be people that want to use amps but Amp modeling is just going to keep getting more popular IMO. So if you're new to it, definitely try this pedal. I don't think you will be disappointed. If you're unsure, watch YouTube videos. Thats what I did for my first pedal. It was the Pod Go. I wanted something affordable but professional. I think this pedal is definitely good for a live band setting also though.

Super Awesome if You Use Your Own Impulse Response
This little thing is killer! I mostly play at home with headphones and I like lots of different sounds. You can get some absolutely AMAZING tones out of this unit. The factory IRs that are on it sound great clean, but once you step up the gain to 80s hair metal and above, you should check out Ola Englund's free IR and load it to one of the user IR slots from your computer. It can do well with a powered speaker or an amp with a good effects loop. I don't recommend plugging it into the front of an amp (obviously with the cab sim OFF) as it has this high-mid frequency honk type sound thats hard to mix out of it on the amp. I haven't noticed this issue with a powered PA speaker or line direct to a mixer or even USB in. Overall, if you just goof around at home or need a little practice or small gig board without complex effect changes within songs, this thing is hard to beat. Toss it in a gig bag with a couple cables and you have yourself a usable minimalist rig with HUGE sounds. I don't recommend touring with it or playing shows with it wearing boots. If you're actually playing shows and touring, I'd go with the Valeton GP-200. This is definitely worth the money and I'd recommend this to anyone.

Lots of effects, would buy again.
This comes with a power adapter, you do NOT need to buy another one. Great device, small form factor, easy to setup. I loaded the PC app just to check for firmware updates - there were none. Since then I've only used the device itself. If you're running this through a guitar amp be sure to turn off the reverb on pretty much every preset - it detracts from the settings itself.

Good efx for the money
A good rock pedal, priced reasonably. I like weirder efx and this was somewhat limited, tho several fit the bill. Drum machine bordered on unusable. Not bad for the price.

This thing is BONKERS!!!
Well they finally got the FIZZZ out of the digital domain...these sounds are really nice. Yes, you will probably have to tweak Reverb and Delay and Volume on most of the presets to make them usable, but what a small thing to have to do for all the functionality you get! Very nice sounds, very good OD presets. I don't do Rip Yer Face Off distortion so I just ignore all those super high gain presets (or, better yet, just turn the volumes to 0 on the ones you don't need). The Ambient presets are very nice. Ok, so I've found ONE problem....on BOTH Chorus presets (Chorus A and Chorus B) the RATE fader is stuck on 0.5Hz...if you set it to any other value, the moment you leave the MOD Block, or even click on the MOD Block, it reverts back to 0.5Hz. This kinda makes the chorus unusable (for me, anyway).... I hope they fix that as it has a decent chorus if you can set the RATE where you want it...otherwise...sounds like yer swimming. GREAT JOB, SONICAKE!!!! P.S.try finding another multi effects pedal near this price that lets you MOVE any effects to any point you want in the chain....Wow....

Great for the price.
Great for the price and adds up to 8 separate pedals and a bulky board. Im testing it out on the smallest, cheapest amp I have to see what it can do for a small carry along rig and it does a great job as Im not into pedals per say and let my amps and playing speak for themselves. However...it lacks in several areas if you want to gig with it especially a one man band gig. Great for practice and recording ideas and demos... Almost all the presets need tweaking and why there is not a bypass switch I will never know. Thats a definite killer for this unit. Pedals Must have a bypass for performing. An on/ off switch would be nice too so you dont have to unplug it every time. Stupid little crap. Sound generator is decent and you can get some great room filling full sounds. There is better out there but not for the price. Its usable and workable. Drum machine has no seperate volume that I have found so thats a problem for performing as well...practicing by yourself, its good enough again, for the price.. Good news is there's a PDF user manual to download on the product page. Tweaking the presets is pretty easy with a little experimentation. All in all, if your on a low budget its great. If you can afford something better, by all all means get that instead. Actually, this is getting returned.

So this is an interesting product as it's allowed me to explore the hype about amp and cab sims. I am primarily a pedal and tube amp kinda guy as I prefer having access to the sounds I want as soon as I want them. But I have been quite curious about amp and cab sims for a while and my only options were to spend $1000+ for a guitar multi effects processor or buy individual pedals. This product was conveniently on sale and I thought I'd give it a go, especially cause it's super cheap. Aside the amazing presets it comes with, the built in effetcs are fully customisable to your liking, it's got a 90 second looper which is plenty enough (it's also got a very intuitive display that shows you your loop progression), it's got a "funny" drum machine (it's no way close to Neil Peart but it's good enough to keep you in time).. and the most important thing for me is, It works like an audio interface. I can directly record to my DAW from the device. A quick note about audio interfaces, in most cases when you plug your guitar to an audio interface, you need to use headphones to listen to your playing. Which makes sense if you are actually recording.. but sometimes you want to play by feel AND record your music session. This little device does just that.. I do not need head phones. I can plug this device to my computer and record whilst still being able to hear my playing through my amp. Build quality - its quite a lot of plastic.. I would not recommend putting your weight on it.... but I think you can look past all of that when you plug it in and try out a few presets.. Overall.. it sounds amazing, it's multi functional (guitar effects, amp+cab sim, looper, drum machine and audio interface), it's great to record with (plug and play concept) and is believe it works with any DAW. I think it's a great product in comparison to the products from bigger brands as it does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

Excellent value for money wee pedal this, so glad I got it. After trying out quite a few this one proved the bees knees, I was able to produce a great Shadows sound with it which I play a lot of and it had all good usable fx and very good quality ones too, I was particularly impressed with the acoustic guitars. I love the fact you can tweek them with the software too, much easier than trying to do with the pedal. The tuner could have been improved a bit, but it's not as stable as I wanted it to be. However, at this price, you can't complain, and the quality is also good. Highly recommended for both beginners and established players. You wont be disappointed, oh and not too heavy either. The build is also great too, normally plastic but not this baby its metal.

Wonderful pedal. Lots of different sounds to choose from and I like how easy it is to mod each sound and select and mod the amps. I did not find the instructions not to well written, mainly how to run the pedal in stereo with two amps. As well this may be one of the last products I buy from Amazon as I am disappointed that they are pushing everyone into their prime membership. Customers who have spent thousands of dollars over the years should be given consideration. I never really cared about the one day shipping and didn't mind having to wait a little longer.
