I work in Auto Body restoration shop and my boss was always telling me I needed better hammers than my harbor freight ones, but the price of a good Martin or Snap On hammer even used is quite high. I decided to buy these mostly because they were cheap and I like bright tools they look different than everyone else's and are easier to find, but I didn't really expect them to be any better. My boss picked them up and was like these are nice hammers, I was kind of shocked, I was like this whole set cost what one of your hammers cost. So far they have worked great, some things are different from a standard set for instance the spoon is a lot thicker than most but in a lot of ways that's a good thing. In the business you'll find a use for just about any tool and it's great when they don't cost much.

Not the hardest, not perfectly smooth. But darn nice and does the job and beats everything else I've seen in this price range.

Easy to use and effective even for a beginner I picked up this hammer and dolly set to work on my old Dakota truck and was impressed with the results. I am far from an expert, honestly it would be a stretch to even call myself a novice, but I was able to noticeably straighten some pretty extreme dents on the fenders and the bed. The tools felt solid in hand and worked exactly as expected. While I know a skilled bodywork professional could achieve even better results, this set gave me the confidence to try the job myself and made the work enjoyable. For someone learning or just tackling minor projects, it is a great value and a very useful kit to have. I look forward to practicing more and improving my results over time.

For what you spend ($30 shipped) you def get a good set for light at-home work. Look, this is no PRO level set but if you want that, spend the $$$ on it. Slammed the hammers on concrete ground 15+ times and they seemed solid. Take an angle grinder to the dollies and they'll shine up. I ended up returning and spending more money on another set but was impressed by this set.

I did use these to get some dents out of my truck and they do help, but be prepared to do a lot of grinding, sanding, polishing to get smooth and even surfaces first. Surfaces as arrived were rough and uneven which you're only going to transfer to your vehicle paint and metal when trying to use these to knock out dents. Handles were rough to so I sanded those down and refinished. Once I did all that work on these tools themselves I had pretty decent tools to start working on the dents. For the price they were good but after doing all the work of making the surfaces good.
