The cap is factory sealed by some paraffin like material and now submerged into pump oil
I used this cap to replace the one that exploded/opened up in my sump-pump. The cap is factory sealed by some paraffin like material and now submerged into pump oil, inside the motor housing. Now pump starts and works great.

Worked for a short time then no longer had the needed energy to spin the motor. Most like the motor killed the capacitor. If I needed it I’d buy it again.
