Love this product, but expensive
I used the original universal vitamin C cream after seeing it on a local news program. It was discounted and I came to love the product. This, however, was my favorite vitamin C cream combined with a sunscreen. Two thumbs up! A little bit goes a long way so one bottle lasts several months. I have used this product with what I think is great results. My skin has had no adverse reactions and I can be confident in knowing I’ve begun my morning outdoor walk with sunscreen protecting my face. The only drawback: it’s expensive. Worth it to me.

Not great for me
This product left my skin feeling dry and irritated. It was pretty expensive for such a small bottle.

Bad reaction
Bought this during Amazon prime days to try an new vitamin C product with SPF component for my daughter. She had a tingling/burning reaction after application worsen with moisturizer topper. I switch vitamin C with her mine Paula’s choice to see if I get the same reaction. It did mine was tingling and itching calmed down a bit after moisturizer topper. Never write reviews bad or good results but this one is an exception. Grainy feel too like you’re exfoliating your face .

Pasty consistancy
This is very thick and does not go on smoothly. If I put it on over a facial oil or oily serum it’s easier to spread it around, but on its own, it’s not very easy to spread on. I would not purchase it again.

Chalky
I don’t normally write reviews, but this product is not cheap, and the other reviews are misleading. It leaves a chalky white layer on the skin, and does not mix well with other facial products. I was left with the product balling up on my face throughout the day after my makeup was applied. I’m bummed out because I was on the hunt for a vitamin c serum with spf (since I struggle with melasma) that could be used in conjunction with other moisturizers. I was using supergoop prior to this product, but their serum was leaving my face red. It’s all trial and error. However, if you wear makeup daily, particularly foundation, this might not be the product for you.

Goes on dry, but isn't drying
I've never used a lotion or sunscreen of this texture before. It's a little hard to spread because it almost immediately turns to a powder as you put it on. I've found that I need to just squeeze out a very small amount at a time and just put it on a section of my face until I've covered my face. I end up using about three small pea sized dabs. The cream itself has a pinkish hue to it. Once on, it doesn't show. It doesn't have the white cast of some mineral sunscreens, nor does it have the coverage of some tinted sunscreens. I have fairly dry skin, so when I realized that this went on like a powder, I was concerned. However, I don't experience any extra dryness. In fact, when I rinse it off later, I think my skin is actually softer. I do follow with a moisturizer, though. I wore this playing basketball, and it didn't run into my eyes at all. I appreciate that this doesn't feel sticky or tacky at all. In fact, it more or less feels like nothing a few minutes after putting it on. I recommend this with some hesitation. It's a bit too expensive for me to want to purchase it again. but I do like it.
