Soft Reservoir 1.5L, Short Underarm Routing for Easy Water Access, Flexible Shrink-As-You-Drink Bladder, Optimized Slider Grip

I've been using the Salomon Soft Reservoir for several months now, and it's become an essential part of my trail running and hiking gear. Here's what I appreciate about it: ✅ What I Love Flexible and lightweight: The soft design molds comfortably to my pack, reducing bounce and shifting as I drink. Easy to clean: The wide slider opening allows for quick drying and thorough cleaning, ensuring no lingering odors. Leak-resistant: The bladder has remained leak-free during my use, providing peace of mind on the trail. Compatible with various packs: Fits seamlessly into my Salomon vest and other compatible hydration packs. ⚠️ A Couple of Considerations Mouthpiece durability: Some users have reported issues with the mouthpiece cracking over time, even with gentle use. Hose length: The hose is slightly long for my setup, leading to some excess length that I need to manage. ⭐ Final Verdict Overall, the Salomon Soft Reservoir offers excellent hydration performance for endurance activities. Its flexibility, ease of cleaning, and leak resistance make it a reliable choice for trail runners and hikers. While there are minor considerations regarding the mouthpiece and hose length, they don't detract significantly from its overall functionality.

Bought this as a replacement reservoir for my running vest and it's excellent. The 1.5L size is perfect for longer runs without being too heavy. The soft flask design means it shrinks down as you drink so there's no sloshing around. The bite valve works smoothly and doesn't leak in the bag. Really easy to fill and clean too, the wide opening at the top makes a big difference. Fits well in my Salomon vest obviously but should work in most hydration packs. Well made and no plasticky taste at all which was a concern. Great bit of kit for trail running.

Works really well with no leaks. Much better than other bladders I've tried and fits really well into my Salomon backpack.

Brilliant hydration bladder, especially if you have a Salomon running vest.

I've bought a few cheaper alternatives which have leaked or have been awkward. Whilst the opening to this is quite difficult to get in to, I've now used this on 2 trail races and it's been relatively easy to fill up at water stations and I've had no leaks or issues. Well worth the money.

Water bladder works well and is easy to use but did leak once into the rucksack when I mistakenly overfilled it.

Easy to use. Easy to clean. Just leave it open so it dries. the supply hose is a little long but its easy to trim and replace the suck valve. Just remember it weighs 1.5kg. One downer is that Salomon no longer sell the insulating sleeve. So get creative if its important.

I bought this to fit in my Salomon Adv Skin 12. It's a perfect fit (as it should be) and, although a little fiddly to weave the hose through the feeder holes in the running vest, once you get used to it, it's no problem. It's ideal for longer training runs when you don't necessarily have stations where you can fill your flasks. I use this for water and flasks for electrolytes. The hose is fairly long but I tuck it into the front chest straps – I then don't have to stretch or move my head to be able to drink. The wide opening at the top enables you to fill it up on the move without taking it out of the whole vest, and it also allows for easy cleaning.
