VICARKO Hair Steamer Thermal Heat Cap for Deep Conditioning Hawaii Blue

I want to first make it clear that this hair steamer actually warms your hair for a deep condition. It does not dry your hair so don’t give a bad review for that. I found it to be well made. I’ve used it a few times so far and really like it. I love that the heat mainly stays on my hair and not heat the entire room, making it hot. I like the safety feature where it turns off after 15 minutes although others complain about this. Most times by the time I notice that it has cooled down its warming back up again. The cord is long enough for me as I sit in a chair right in front of the outlet. I like to use it 30 minutes or so at a time. I have hair down to the middle of my back when straightened and it fits my head just fine. I use a plastic cap on my hair and then put the steamer on. I can tell a difference in the manageability of my hair, in conjunction with a good conditioner. My hair is over processed and this has helped a lot. I felt softness for the first time in awhile. I wish I had bought this a long time ago. I would highly recommend!

I have locs and prefer to do my detox and deep conditioning at home (it’s cheaper than the salon) so I bought this steamer for the deep conditioning. I’m sitting here with this cap on now and I can feel the heat. It takes maybe 5 minutes to heat up but it does works just fine. Easy to use, light weight, fits well on my head and cute design.

I was worried that this conditioning cap would not get hot enough but it did a wonderful job with my deep conditioner. My only complaint is that I wish it were bigger. I have long thick locs and it was hard for me to fit all may hair inside.

Im obsessed with this heated hair steamer! It makes my deep conditioning treatments feel like a real salon experience, but at home and way more affordable. My hair comes out super soft, shiny, and healthy every time. Definitely a must-have for anyone who loves good hair days!

So happy I found this product. I saw an Instagram ad and immediately came to Amazon to see if I could find it cheaper. I did. I didn’t give 5 stars for value for money though because there are cheaper vendors on Amazon who even offer more items with the purchase for cheaper but I settled on this one because it had more than one design on the cap and I needed to buy one for myself and one for my sister. This product will now be a staple for me when I travel and during every wash day. It’s nice and portable and I can steam my hair while I stand at my sink! Before I would sit under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes and steaming my hair is a must so this was a hassle but now I can multi-task. Steam hair and wash face and brush teeth all at once. It gets pretty hot though so be careful. Also I use a plastic bag instead of a plastic cap with it because my hair is too long to fit in a plastic cap so some of the ink from the plastic bag rubbed of on the inside of the cap.

The steamer works well for deep conditioning and heats up nicely, but the cap didn’t fit my head properly. The snap tie tends to slide and won’t lock securely, and the material feels stiff, which makes it harder to adjust and keep in place. Because of this, it was uncomfortable to use for longer sessions. Effective for steaming, but the fit and design need improvement.

I absolutely have never spent my money on something more valuable than this, on Amazon. My heating cap arrived today and I immediately put it to use. My 3b/3c Low porosity hair needed heat for deep conditioning. Upon research I uncovered, I needed to add heat. I tried it today and my hair was silky smooth. I love how fast it started heating and it does have a setting that minimizes burning but lowering the heat temporarily until it cools off. I used it for 30 minutes and never felt burning. It works well. Fits my big head, lol and it's only $20. Again money well spent, I can't wait to continue using it. It's very lightweight, you will barely feel it on your head.

I like its temperature, the results are amazing and now i can deep conditioning treatment at home. So more money wastage
