I have a small 5# papillon and was fearful of the hawks flying overhead. Although I never let him go outside alone, he loves to run around our half acre backyard! If a hawk swooped down, I would be helpless! My only negative is that the legs a difficult to put into the sleeves. It would be much easier if they were just holes in body, instead of actual sleeves. Vest is very well made, great quality. It will be great for winter weather, but maybe hot in our summer temps! but still love it - it is a serious deterrent for a predator!

The spikes are kind of fluffy. Can’t let my dog even wear. It scares the hell out of her. Kind of wish I would’ve got the original coyote vest and spent the extra 30 bucks it’s just and it’s the original bag shoved underneath the shelf and by the washer machine or it’ll live until the day I die, but it is lightweight. It would probably do the trick if you could keep it on the dog without all the bling and spike scaring the heck out of it just too too much spikes are too long.

Just didn't fit my dog. For a medium it had a neck size of 16.9", length of 14.2" and chest girth of 17.3-19.7". For the chest girth it does not go by the largest part of the chest just behind the front legs, rather it says the sturdiest part of your dog's chest, wherever that is. My dog's neck is 12", her length is 14" and depending on where you measure her chest it is 19" to 20.5". I think they need a better way to measure the chest. So putting it on was like a girdle so not comfortable for her.

This product is very cheaply made and does not fit properly at all. This is ridiculous. I am returning it right away, amazon should not sell this item it is horrible product

I feel so much better letting my 5lb chichuahua run around outside. I live in an area with a large amount of raptures and coyotes. If you are on the fence about this product don't be.. buy one now. You will receive two types of straps, 2 Spiked and 2 rivets.

The media could not be loaded. My 6lb Miniature Pinscher/ Chihuahua looks like a hardcore punk rocker in this 😂He is wearing the XS. The spikes are interchangeable with flat studs. It’s tough fabric, well made. Also, the neck has a draw string which helps with securing the jacket.My only concern is that it’s can get too warm. On hot, sunny days I am reluctant to put this on him for fear of overheating. So even though he likes to sunbathe on the deck and I had hoped to leave him alone to do so, I continue to sit with him without the jacket on.

My Pomeranian hates to wear the vest because it is so stiff. The quality and durability are good.
