Got these for the hubster, he is getting older & colder, I still sleep hot. His circulation issues were adding to the problem, since we don't intend to sleep in twin beds I've been working on this. First I got him cashmere sleep socks, (it was hard to find pure cashmere with no elastic), that solved the feet issue. I recently bought these silks, mainly for the pants but worried they would cause him to sweat. Turned out that these 100% silk underwear are just perfect to keep him warm with no side effects. They are very light weight, he hardly knows they're on and we are both very happy with them. Plus the price was so reasonable. I'll have to get back to this review for the length of wear issue.

so I bought these because I was going to be in the Canadian Yukon where it was -40. Except to bath, I never took these off for the four days we were there. They felt good on and they kept me warm. Got home and washed them and hung them to dry---no problems no shrinkage. I believe they are warmer that a cotton/lycra set.

For the price, these are good. Medium to lightweight. I am 5'10" 150 lb. and the M fit me, just barely. UPDATE: One year later, they are getting holes in them and falling apart. Granted I have worn them daily during the winter months.

The material is not very silky, more like a synthetic rayon or satin.It may BE silk, but it doesn't breathe, and doesn't keep me very warm. It DOES make me wake up in a sweat, and both pieces slide all over making them terrible for layering. The pants are too short, and my junk flops out of the unsecured fly constantly. This leads to awkward shopping.The shirt neck is huge, like a ballet shirt. It's nice to not have the neck of my undershirt showing, but the neck seam bunches up in weird spots and annoys me, especially on the collarbone.All in all, I would avoid this and other brands of "thermal silk" because I've tried them and they all suck for some reason. Good wool thermals are where it's at, and where my money is going from now on.

Silk is the most comfortable, and warmest base layer for winter. Worn under wool, it has kept me warm and relatively stink free for extended continuous wear In below freezing temperatures. Silk's smoothness eases movement under multiple layers of clothing. This is a well made set of silks at a reasonable price. Thank you

Like fit and comfort for delicate skin. Needs outside cover(family show here) one minor problem. Cat tore leg tiny bit with claws, shes a kitty ok, the thread on it unravelled but dodo did not see it. Even delicate cycle thread mixed up things. Stitching is great but kitty cut some causing tangles. Fixed by sewing up again. It snags where she sits on you "kneeding" so cover with attire.

I believe the reviews explained what the fit would be like. We ordered according to the reviews. I don't think my husband had any complaints about these. They were very thin and comfortable. I'm not sure they got much use because his hike ended up being in very hot weather. We can update the review as they receive more use.

Husband loves the lightweight warmth. I bought these for a trip to a cold weather location, but he loves wearing them as PJs now that we're back home. The set seems to be constructed well and they've held up to many wearings and washings.

The friend I bought this for is a PCSO and on foot and happened to be on NIGHT SHIFT when it arrived... he was OVER THE MOON (I also bought a silk snood) and that made him even warmer, with the other one on top.... What can I say... I am happy, he is happy and as he is 6'4" tall... the fact the large fit him to a T was BONUS!

I’m a 32” waist 39” chest and this product in small is a very good fit for me,very comfortable and warm for a base layer
