Mr Snugs KatDen® Outdoor Cat Kennel/Shelter - Dark Green (Various Options) - Kennel & Self Heating Pet Pad

We bought the house for a very timid stray cat that found itself in our garden. The cat now lives in the outdoor house. I lined the inside with old carpet and covered the shell with bubble wrap as a cold snap is due. When you put your hand inside, it feels noticeably warmer and the cat loves it. He was warm, safe and dry during the various storms at the end of 2024. It's extremely good value and really well made. The drainage holes make cleaning the inside a doddle.

I adopted a very scared rescue shelter cat who has been hiding from me for 21 days already. I'm hoping that she'll see the cat den and make it part of her hiding ritual, better than behind the washer and under the dining table.The Mr Snugs KatDen looks great, I will put it outdoors for her when the cat finally gets over her trauma and wants the freedom of my country garden..

This is a sturdy little outside house for my cat........waterproof and like the canopy type thing at the front for weather protection. All in all very pleased...its a shame my ruddy cat never uses it !!!!!!

I bought two of these, one each for my cats. They are used to being able toCome and go as they please through a cat flap but we don’t have one just now and I bought these as shelter in case the weather turns whilst they are outside. Firstly one arrived in perfect condition, wrapped in a bag with the cat flap fitted and the manual and spare bits inside. The second one arrived with no spares, the cat flap hanging off and two screws just loose. It hadn’t been packed properly and was scratched and scuffed. That said it was easy sorted. The space is suitable for one cat. The kennel is from a single mold, no where for the water to seep in and the floor is slightly raised. I placed the kennels in a sheltered position and even in the wind and rain last night there was no water got into the bedding. There are some small holes in the base to allow air to circulate but unlikely to cause a draft. These are also quite heavy in that they won’t blow away.The reason I didn’t give if 5 stars is that the price is higher than the quality.

Purchased Mr Snugs with self- heating pad. Firstly, it was delivered very quickly, within two days of ordering. Secondly, it is large enough to house a rather large outdoor male stray who is very pleased with his new home. With no assembly, it was simply a matter of unpacking and positioning the shelter, so it's very easy to set up. We have raised it slightly off the ground using a wooden pallet to increase insulation. We have added an old woolen jumper and are also putting in straw for insulation. During the cold snap I am putting a warm hot water bottle in at night (not boiling for obvious safety reasons). The recessed entrance adds extra protection against wind, rain and I hope snow. Mr Snugs the cat is very happy with his Mr Snugs shelter.

These are tough, ready constructed and do the job well. We were fed up replacing wooden ones that rot in no time due to the breath of the little darlings within. These suffer no such issues. Even our female tortoiseshell who is fairly fussy (princess!) loves the shelters. Good looking too blending in well with the garden.

Bought this for a stray cat who I feed. He loves it and in the current stormy weather he only comes out to be fed! The good thing is it’s solid without seams so there’s no place where it can leak. The one negative is that it could be a few centimetres longer, it would be a bit small inside for a large cat.

Really pleased with this cat house. Its very sturdy and heavy enough not to get blown away! It took a day for my cat to venture in to but now he loves it!! 😀 It gives plenty of shelter from the bad weather too with the little porch so now I dont have to worry about him when i'm at work.
