I bought the blcktec 400 a few days ago, and it's been great so far! The app is simple to use, and I was able to connect the device to my car's OBD-II port without any trouble. I like that I can read and clear diagnostic codes with just a few taps on my phone. the device itself is compact and fits well in my glove box, which is a huge plus. my only complaint is that the manual could be more detailed - it took me a while to figure out how to set up the device at first. overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend the blcktec 400 to anyone looking for an affordable car diagnostic tool.

I recently purchased this car diagnostic tool, and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. This product is fabulous. It’s so easy to use. Literally, turn it on, plug it into the car, have phone ready and turn on the ignition. The two pair and BAM! You have your code you just look at the report on your phone at the concerns from the reader and it even has a cost estimate to fix. There was a probability of what the actual problem was so I looked up the code. Now I’m off to my mechanic to see if he comes up with the same one. I love the fact that this was so very easy to use, that it’s made in the US of A and it brought me a lot of peace of mind. Definitely recommend this.

Good little scanner

1st time to use such a OBD reader on my 2013 Audi Q5. It come with is very nice (and color) start guide sheet providing very clear step-by-step instruction. Connect it to the car data port, download the app, scan and get my first report within less than 10min. I don’t have any error code detected this time (so I can’t comment on any further feature/function associated to this), but overall it’s a good and smooth experience with this solid small device. I would recommend it to friend/family who would like to have a handy and ease-of-use OBD reader.
