These really work!
I am a stroke survivor with a drop foot. These have made a world of difference in my walking. My therapist even commented on them & wanted to know more. I even gave info on them to a nurse. They are so comfortable you forget you have them on and you don’t even notice them lifting your foot. At this price you can’t go wrong.

Great brace for foot drop
This brace is well designed and easy to use, but it broke after 8 months of intermittent use. I'm updating my prior review to say that JOMECA reached out to me with a full refund, no questions asked. I've been researching replacement braces since mine broke and I'm still convinced that this is a good choice and I have purchased another one. It's good to see the manufacturer stand behind their product.

Cable failed
Great fit, very comfortable, more so than other brands I've tried, but... after 60 days the Reel began to bind inteittantly when turning to increase tension and eventually broke. I purchased this brace on May 27, displeased with lack of longevity , as I thought velcro would wear out before cable. Is it a metal cable? Or nylon? Not pleased with its performance

No longer a good purchase
I have used this brace for three years. I work retail and I cover a lot of ground. The generally last for me about 7 months. I feel like the have cheapened either the materials or the design in some way as the last 3 have failed at 35 to 40 days. I would stay away. I'll be looking for a similar design from a different maker.

Amazing brace that works well compared to others
Sad....this is my favorite brace this far. Literally broke today which is 3 days past the return/replacement window. Aside from that it's honestly quite comfortable the Velcro unlock others if offset just a little scratch your legs up. This one doesn't as bad with just how fine the Velcro is made up as. Plus the strap around the leg holds it tight. As a daily user I can tell you it helps a lot with mobility and support while still being easy to use.

Amazing brace for foot drop. COMFORTABLE and easy to use.
Never knew this brace existed until my podiatrist prescribed. I have bad foot drop from numerous back injuries/surgeries. Years ago I had a custom molded foot brace that I never used cause it was very uncomfortable. So for the last 30 years I've been stumbling and falling. Gotten worse the last few years as I age (74). Had been falling once every week or two, some quite hard. Amazing product!! I have bad foot drop from numerous spinal surgeries. I am truly amazed on how well this brace works, been using for 6-8 months now and have not fallen once. I bought an extra 6 pair to put on all my different shoes. I won't leave home without it.

Jomeca Drop Foot Brace
Jomeca drop foot brace is not worth the price. This brace only lasts 30 to 45 days and they raised the price $3.00 since I purchased my last one 45 days ago. After 45 days the round twist ratcheting device fell apart. I have purchased this item many many times and they only last just beyond the 30 day replacement warranty. I've tried other methods for my drop foot and they aren't any better. I'd give this brace a five star rating if they would last at least six months, but unfortunately they don't.

Terrific Value!
Great value! Not as robust as one I have that cost $200, but what the heck? For that price, you could replace it many times! Being lighter, it should be great for women, especially. It is also less obvious under clothes. A heavier one might be better for vigorous sports or a lot of walking. A really great feature is that it just loops over the shoe laces. The expensive one I have uses special semi-permanent hooks and you have to pay $50 a set to use it with different pairs of shoes. You could buy one of these for every pair of shoes you have and still be ahead!

Lack of durability.
I purchased this foot drop brace with high hopes about three months ago. Initially, I was very pleased. The design is thoughtful, it was comfortable to wear, and provided the support I needed for daily walking and specific physical therapy exercises. For light use, the concept is great. However, the durability of the materials is a massive letdown and renders the brace unusable in a very short period. Here are the critical flaws I experienced: Poor Quality Velcro: After just a few weeks of use, the Velcro straps lost their ability to stick securely. This is a fundamental failure for a device that relies on a tight, secure fit. I resorted to using zip ties to keep the brace fastened, which is a ridiculous "fix" for a medical aid device. Catastrophic Metal Wire Failure: The zip tie solution was working until the next critical part failed. The metal wire used to adjust the tension of the brace snapped completely. This broke the core mechanism of the brace and made it entirely unusable. There is no way to repair this. Conclusion: It's incredibly frustrating because the underlying design is effective. If the manufacturer updates the design with higher-quality, more durable materials—especially on the Velcro and that critical metal wire—this could be a 5-star product. As it is now, I can only cautiously recommend it for very light, occasional indoor use or supervised exercises. I would not trust this brace for any vigorous activity like running, trail walking, or significant hiking. It simply will not hold up. For the price, I expected a product that would last more than three months. I cannot recommend this specific model until its construction is significantly improved.
