Design Toscano CL993664 Knights of the Realm: Battle Armor Pen C..., Set of 5,Full Color

I loved this! These pens were well made and they were gifts. I was so happy I wanted a set for myself. The first set was $31.00 and when i went to buy them again they are $66.00!!!! Why?! I didn’t buy them again. Someone tell me why they doubled in price!!!!!!

I'd go 3 1/2 stars considering these pens Are really cool!However, despite a few small pieces being chipped off, I'm guessing- like the axe, the mace and parts of my shield warrior, the ones I recieved weren't painted quite as well (professionally), and the golden bronze finish was skipped over on some parts.In a couple ways I noticed upon unpackaging they weren't perfect pieces, but they look good in a cup together all the same. ( especially if you get the dragon pen collection ) So a little disappointed for a few reasons, but not worth returning.Critical Review

These pens appear to be made fairly well made...nice detail, painted evenly, for the most part (on one of the pens there is some "overlap" on the gold paint spiraling down the body of the pen). I cannot speak for how well they write, as we use them only for display. Overall, (and for the price) it is a nice set that appears true to picture. The pens are on the solid/heavy side, and they come packaged very nicely...5 separate boxes...one for each piece, inside a larger box, with bubble wrap around each. Nice! :)

These are fab for any collector...my son made all A's honor roll and instead of new video game we bought these w the matching cup and a few other "historical scholarly" type stuff. History Art Music is important for your child! Help them to appreciate all things!

These highly detailed, extremely well made pens write well and are perfect for the knight in your life. Awesome when paired with Design Toscano's Knight's Templar Pen Holder. The only problem is that they are slightly top heavy, due to the intricate ornamentation, but that is a small sacrifice for such an attractive pen.

At my school, the Knight is our mascot. When I saw the Toscano Knights of the Realm pens, it knew they would be the perfect incentive for my students. They love them! They are super cool, well made and affordable. Strongly recommend!

Can’t wait for Thursday to give these to my son for his birthday

Arrived a day later than expected, although the pens look Ok it is a job to get them to write, one didn't even work at all but after scribbling on a piece of paper for over ten minutes finally got to write. The ball point pen part is not retractable hence I think the reason, for them not working in the first place, (clogged ball?) great ornaments though
